I rarely lose my lane in a solo lane, and I don't think I've gone negative in the past 25 games I've played including all the losses. I just want, like, one decent team. Even half a decent team is cool, I'll carry one or two shitty players but not four that feed 10 kills to bot lane before the 15 minute mark, or 5 to Darius in top lane because the jungler has given him two doubles from failed ganks.

Depends on the champion.
I mean if you're someone like an Orianna prepare to get your shit slapped very hard unless you play the lane very well and space correctly. A better choice is to pick someone with a bit more survivability vs. a fizz. Magic resist is also good; an early chalice can work well.
Just make sure you don't get hit by a fish or get all ined at level 2/3 and you should be somewhat fine. He's still a very squishy melee assassin whenever his E is down and will explode very fast.

If you don't already have a fairly large champion pool or have a LOT of different runes then it's kind of unnecessary to get extras, only reason I got some was the 2 for 1 sale

Well one of my rune pages has AD quints, and the other GP10. Needless to say it's difficult to play AP based champions.

I like jungling, but I'm a bit crappy at it so far. I still have trouble judging when I should farm vs. when I should gank. I've been playing Zac, though, so it's been pretty easy. I love baiting kills for top lane with my passive. More often than not, if I gank on low health up top, the enemy laner won't run away because they think they can get a free kill. Sitting in a bush waiting for a perfect opportunity to go in on a lane is a good way to fall behind, either go in or go back to farming. Not every gank has to end with a kill, if your lane is getting bullied pretty hard just let your presence be known and they'll back off a bit. Make sure to check the scoreboard often to see if a lane has bought wards, especially at the beginning where it's very easy to see what their starting items are and if they've warded yet. Don't counter jungle if you can't deep ward for protection, you're asking to have the enemy jungler and either adc or mid (depending on which buff) come up on you. Zac has a pretty good escape tool so it's not as much of an issue, but still be very aware of the enemy laners positions.
