nah, it takes a whole team to defeat him- in more ways than one
first of all he's not really the strongest laner. pick a champ that can wreck him and he'll already need even more time to farm and catch up
secondly, unless he's jungling he probably won't help his team until very late in the game. almost all other top laners can leave the lane and go push mid or help gank their jungler, but nasus usually has to stay top and farm.
an early game comp that plays correctly will usually beat him simply because they can outpush most other lanes before he can even work his way into being useful
basically, end the game before he gets strong

Almost anyone can knock nasus around hard enough in lane to make him more or less useless. If he doesn't get farm he becomes a siege minion with a good slow, he's not hard to bully out of the game.
