How long does it take to get a response for a PBE application, so I know how long I can actually wait before giving up ?
Dont you sign up and then if you get accepted it'll be when the next update hits PBE to stop people making accounts on big announcements

They changed how PBE works and now they are opening signups for a whole round of testing (usually a month) after which the accounts that got in are closed unless they sign up again.

I'm so tempted to do a sprint to Gold 5. I have 29LP and I'm in Silver 1. I get around 20-30LP per win (Got 29 just then) and it's not too hard to poop on my lane. Just need an early lead or kill and I can drive it home.
But I have exams and well, it's solo queue.

Always funny to see the mini map light up with red circles as 4 people converge on your lane but you escape anyway
I played 2 games and got 24lp each but whats the point of getting there if i have plat rewards from 3v3 anyway
maybe if it was like any other game where the quality of normal games and the quality of ranked games were totally different then id try it, but both are just full of retards and there's no incentive to play without the end of season rewards

I feel good whenever I fight a gold/plat and win my lane but that's because I'm still a new player and I'm a silver shitter.

apparently im a regular tester who provides lots of feedback despite playing only bot games because my PBE account still stands active after 1 year
I was playing a PBE game with bots while I tried out new Nasus, and for some reason the game wasn't allowing me to attack towers or the nexus. It took me 70 minutes to win the game.

huh, you can attack towers, you just cant attack inhibs and the nexus, its out of range (if you activate your ult you can though)

I've played 66 games as yorick in ranked, two fifths of all my ranked games, and yes he is.
Yorick either leaves laning phase as half of his team's damage or as a second support, and the times you get to be that carry are very very slim. If you absolutely crush the enemy laner, farm brilliantly and then pick up a few kills in a mid-game teamfight, you will snowball from there but so will anyone.
But if you don't get that lead, your role becomes 'Protect the marksman'. And if that marksman is retarded, god help you.

most marksman players often wont realise the ult is on them and will run away because they dont want to die. Also his 'permaslow' is like 20%
really with those last two that's like saying nautilus or sejuani are guarenteed win champions. They're not. Neither is Yorick.
tho you will definitely consistently win lane as yorick, you simply won't be able to win every game as yorick.

you can't make sweeping generalizations like 'win lane lose game' or 'lose lane win game' or 'win lane win game' because if you get fed enough you will carry out of laning phase and if your team is retarded enough you'll lose the game anyway

But I honestly have no idea how good I am and I've been queuing alone for years now. I always considered myself about mid gold but I'm honestly not sure.

Well I meant just playing alone for years so I have no one to compare myself to. I only have 30 ranked games this season or so. My past self would of been proud of me anyway because in Season 1 I fought hard to reset my elo back to 1250. Silver 1 is probably 1350 elo or some shit.
Ranked is for nerdes anyway.

If you're getting 20-29 LP a win, the system wants you to be higher. Getting that much LP means you should keep playing.
