wouldnt support heimer be one of those supports that push the lane no matter what? are you supposed to have turrets up at all times or what?
lewis picked heimer support in a ranked game with me, it was awful, somehow he always got kills when i was critting for 700 damage and we won like biiig time
wouldnt support heimer be one of those supports that push the lane no matter what? are you supposed to have turrets up at all times or what?
In the laning phase just use them as wards outside the lane.
Try Shard on Heimer instead of Rylai's. Useful in more situations, dropping it on a turret nest/ally during an engage or yourself if you get jumped. The new rockets are sort of unreliable at close range and are the only thing that would proc Rylai's. You've already got Hourglass, which is more useful for surviving an engage than the 500 health would be. GP5 is nice, but the extra mana regen for your allies is awesome. Compliments his passive really well.
Support Heimer with Shard + Banner rush is some serious shit.
i'll stick with rylai's thank youuuuuu
if i had a dollar for every time i've seen a jungler walk in to gank heimerdinger while he has 3 turrets up and gets instafucked
i'd have enough to buy some damn RP
wouldnt support heimer be one of those supports that push the lane no matter what? are you supposed to have turrets up at all times or what?
His new turrets are a bit smarter, they switch targets faster and usually prioritize champions (unless Heimer is attacking a minion). They're also stronger, and I actually find myself maxing them over rockets now. Support Heimer could do the same.
You end up pushing the lane yeah, but that's not really an issue in this situation. The turrets won't actually get the last hits so long as the carry is paying attention, and so long as Heimer isn't actively trying to kill them. For most bottom lanes, a pushed lane is dangerous. But past 6, Heimer can drop an ulted turret at any time. He doesn't need one in his inventory. And engaging with that thing up is almost impossible. You can also keep one of your three turrets in the river, and it would almost always be active.
i'll stick with rylai's thank youuuuuu
Why? He doesn't need it to chase anymore. Grenade/Grenade Ult is better for a ranged engage, and the Ulted turret/shard is better for extended fights.

rilez pls
It's not about the chasing, it's about not freaking getting caught. You got tiny legs and tiny feet, you're gonna be running around a lot, away from enemies
[editline]5th November 2013[/editline]
i bought one of each twitch t-shirts and the hoodie yay
TFW I will never own a Kappa shirt and never get out of bronze.

Even if that were true, the grenade is easy to land, has the same slow (for a longer duration) and has the chance to stun, and has a shorter CD. Rylai's only applies on rockets. It's just not that useful post remake. The slow on Rylai's might even count as multi-target now, although I'm not sure.
i'll stick with rylai's thank youuuuuu
The slow doesn't apply to his turrets right? if not then it seems like a wasted slot to me. rather have torment for spell pen+hp then a useless slow that you can only apply once or twice a fight.
i haven't played riven in a long time - is bloodthirster rush still the best option on her? i'm seeing a lot of people pick up ravenous hydra. watching boxbox's stream and he just went lucid boots + ghostblade maxing E for a huge shield every 3.6 seconds. dang.

it applies on the laser it fires
wow holy fuck they actually did it

[editline]5th November 2013[/editline]
now how about give us the rumble the digger skin
rito pls
Oh my god if that was actually a thing I would literally only play Rumble and spam Gurren Lagann quotes and get reported a lot and get banned. Please don't do it riot. (I would also be reported for intentionally feeding because I am garbage as Rumble)

heimer is literally a kiting machine and rylai's helps that greatly along with zhonya's
i want the health and i want the slows, grenade has a 17 base cd and i max it last so it's nothing that can save you all that often
ghostblade is going to become a thing, calling it now

Keep in mind he's still in placements right now, so everything he does is for an elo where you totally shit on your opponent anyway. In a "real" match he would have probably kept the brutalizer and finished hydra first next.
Hydra gives you the active, which works during whatever animation you're doing, and if you fight multiple people, that really nice AoE-lifesteal (and obv dmg). Since you're supposed to have tons of AD on Riven, + her ult, it just works so well together
ghostblade is going to become a thing, calling it now
maybe the crit chance is putting people off. but mana-regen didn't stop non-mana champs buying spirit of the ancient golem (for good reason, duh, just saying.)

reskin for new ahri skin pls
they can't do rumble the digger, it's copyrighted
also these new masteries are funky. Looks like with some of them they're trying to prevent assassins and try to bring about more sustained damage champs.
[sp]like swain[/sp]

But you're not getting Rylai's as your first item. According to the matches you posted, you're getting this thing after Athene's/Rabadon's/Hourglass. You have two 30+ minute games where you had no Rylai's at all. In what situation would your grenade not be maxed at this point? And if you rushed Rylai's, in what scenario would Rylai's ever save you from an early gank/engage where your grenade/nest/ulted grenade/ulted turret couldn't save you?
The new Heimer doesn't need rockets to kite, he has four other built in methods to do that now. If you want a slow item, Shard is 1300g cheaper, AND it generates gold permanently. It offers much more for your team, and is much better at "kiting" if someone jumps on you. Rockets can miss. Lasers are even easier to dodge than the rockets. Shard is a guaranteed four second slow for anyone in range of you/your turrets/your allies.
They need to fix Sivir's spell shield.

that's intended
deal with it
I got deranked to Bronze 2 now :( Such is life.

I buy it as my second item after athene's most of the time if i feel like i'll need the hp and slow, just because i don't have it in my first/second slot doesn't mean i build it that late in the game jeez. I put zhonya's in my first slot for obvious reasons, surprised you didn't realize that
Athene's, zhonyas and rylai's give me plenty of restances and quite a lot of health which will get me through most fights, rylai's especially helps with that. Even if his spells only slow for 15% because they're multitarget it's still worthwhile IMO.
And i think that shard of true ice is a pretty bad item, cd is way too long to make it worthwhile, i'd much rather have rylai's. I dunno if you actually think putting it on your turrets or w/e would be better than rylais but wow man, is it really that hard to understand why i think rylai's is better on him.
And during the games i played my turrets saved my ass plenty of times, very few people seem to know how to deal with the new turrets so they end up getting hit by most of the lasers, and in turn getting slowed.
Ty i won't reply again because arguing with you is no fun
some of the other ones are kind of funky, too
double edged sword seems questionable but spell weaving and blade weaving will be great for people like cass
the new items on the pbe sound really weird
And i think that shard of true ice is a pretty bad item, cd is way too long to make it worthwhile, i'd much rather have rylai's.
Your loss.
also you now get both armor and magic pen in one mastery, sounds great for hybrid damage dealers because getting both in the current setup costs too many points
The new masteries feel really itchy and awkward to be honest.
Fuck yeah, just got into gold V

Just new. Didn't they say they want to change runes as well?
