the only thing I hate about the new arams is that there are about 10 times as many people who take them super seriously
I only played the one so I dunno how true that is, but there was a gratifying lack of "gg" being spouted when we were 4 kills behind. I don't think a single person typed a single thing the entire game
I have cross-team chat turned off so the enemy might have but I don't care what my enemy has to say
gets penta kill, ace
recalls
"It's not me, it's my team!"

Pff, i often don't even play SR seriously. Today i've played as ward-teemo (with custom teemo ward skin). Game's fun, unless you don't duo queue, then it's awfulsince your team doesn't know how to use you.
And ARAM's are like, meant to be fun2play not serious gameplay. IE. unusual builds.
I think Pax Sivir should be her default skin :P

this is why i despise this champion
Apparently every game I've lost the term noobs been in the chat, while every game i've won has had the word levels? in chat. Funny.
EDIT: Up until now.

last time I checked, there's still a bug that causes your blade to disappear.
Re-roll from Heca worth. Enemy team was quite bad though.

It was unique mechanic, but as you should know: it was too bullshit for low-mana champs while it did nothing to energy-based/LODS EMANA -oriented champs.
Client did not pop up when it was my turn to pick champ.
Woop -3 points.

That feeling when entire enemy team is pushing top, our vayne is solopushing bot. And then tells us "def pls".
So what are some good heroes for new players? I started a few days ago since alot of my IRL Friends play this. So far I've only played 3 "real" games and like 5-6 bot games. I've tried Jayce, Darius, Sejuani & Taric.
I like Darius since he seemed pretty easy to good with (from what I tried him) and Taric was p cool to play as support.
A friend recommended me to save up to unlock Pantheon, is he a solid pick?

I remember my early days. When i tried to play with Alistar and Tristana. My tip: don't try them. I can't play them properly even tho i am playing LoL for month now (i was playing in S1 too, but i stopped for 'a while'). You might want to get a grip on how to play ranged ad-carries. For that i recommend Ashe and Miss Fortune. Don't worry about laning mid, maybe you are solo, but hey, the other guy is solo too. If you want to try mid, i recommend taking Master Yi or Lux (Yi has shitton of healing from his W skill, and with lich bane and deathcap he is a walking Tons of Damage type of guy).
TL;TR: Ashe and MF for ADC, Yi and Lux for mid.
If you are just starting my advice is just to pick one champ that look cool and just play it, fuck everything. It doesn't matter if its a simple champ or complex as if you play it you should get better with it in time.

450 champions are simple more or less. Also the recommended tag can help you see which ones are simpler. Ashe, Annie or such are pretty much "baby's first" at the roles they are used in. Similar with Warwick and so on.

in theory it's a good idea under admittedly very specific circumstances

Nunu's a 450 champion and he's anything but simple
Nunu's a 450 champion and he's anything but simple
nunu is easy
spam snowballs, consume when not at 100% health and blood boil the carry, something something press ult in middle of team
poopy is 450 and isn't easy
Why do runes cost so much for such tiny increases
Nunu's a 450 champion and he's anything but simple
how is he not simple
Their basic mechanics are simple. Poppy might be slightly complicated but isn't on a level of someone like an Elise where you have 6 abilities to worry about in a teamfight. Garen, Annie, Ashe, Kayle, Nunu. All are point and click champions. And poppy is very similar in that regard.
Why do runes cost so much for such tiny increases
Hah, tiny if you buy one perhaps, helps A LOT if you got a full rune page.
Hah, tiny if you buy one perhaps, helps A LOT if you got a full rune page.
Now I can get tier 3 ones though I feel like I'm going to be falling behind without them, but if I start buying them it'll take me forever to get more champs.
Sivir is also 450. Easy to learn, hard to master.
She's also really fun, if you learn her early you'll rape face with her once you get to ranked

I had 4500 ip and got 9 ad runes, 9 armor runes, and 3 or 4 magic resist runes.
It honestly isnt that expensive with the exception of some of the quints, and I would rather have a lower number of champions that are not at a complete disadvantage early game than a bunch of champions that get their asses kicked during laning because I bought them over rune pages.
