buy champs with rp when they go on sale
get some sandwich stuff to make at home and then don't spend money on lunch for that week or whatever, just make a sandwich and then spend the money you would use on a $20 rp thing. beneficial for your body because you aren't filling it with fast food, and you get to spend your ip on other important stuff.

annie is a great beginner ap carry because her q actively rewards last hits, which is a critical skill to learn early on, plus her passive adds depth and encourages spell combos and well-timed engages (wait for passive stun to come up, DEPLOY STUNBEAR, burninate everything)
if you've played free week taric and enjoyed him then id say pick him up as a support, he's pretty good overall
also make sure to do the promos for free tristana and alistar + skins, the skins arent anything fancy but free champions are never bad

if tristana doesn't work out for you ashe and sivir are great adcs as well, sivir's kind of on the lower end of the spectrum but she has a higher skill ceiling (imo) and awesome teamfight/teampush potential and ashe is geared towards kiting and slowing constantly
for top laners garen is a great option for tank, cho is tankish with an ap bend, tryndamere is the quintessential right click to win champion, jax is a heavier "jump on someone and bludgeon them to death" bruiser, and dr mundo can be entertaining if nothing else
cheap good junglers are amumu (tanky and great ganks), fiddlesticks (infinite sustain but weaker ganks), warwick (balanced between sustain and damage) and again mundo/cho/jax
Ugh, just had the worst ARAM, other team had Nidalee, Jayce, Morgana, Rammus and Cassiopeia.
Poke central, it's a god damned wonder we survived until 30 minutes, make no mistake though, we never got to even touch one of their towers.
Also Banshee's veil apparently doesn't work on Nidalee's spear, Nidalee speared me and instead of completely negating it, my Banshee's veil only reduced the damage by about 50% of what I usually receive from the spear.

Are you sure BV didn't negate the whole spear? Maybe an aoe like Morgana's or Cassiopeia's might've taken it off when you didnt see it.
As far as I know, BV should ignore the spear.

The "not full blue" build of BT, Muramana LW and gauntlet is quite alright though. It actually does, yknow, damage.

You need to understand why they build those kind of items before you build those kind of items.
There are many compositions where blue ezreal sucks balls.
Also when you play SoloQ you wont laneswap 90% of the time, you really shouldn't build tear when you 2vs2.

xin bought an oracle as his first purchase after his jungle items and then died 45 seconds later. meanwhile they blamed me for not calling mia on people not in my lane. sona died 6 times in ten minutes.
i really don't know what to do at this point. i don't play badly every game, i just get paired with bad people, lose, get paired with worse people because now i'm at their level, lose again. repeat.

ADC Tristana is really awesome with the AS steroid, passive and her W, holy shit that's great.
