ad carries really need more active items, right now the only active item they have is mercurial scimitar which is a situational item, whereas supports have like 3 core actives
Ok botrk is the only core active item which is only built on select marksmen
but it can sometimes make a dumb playstyle, yes they are strong roles and the fact that they are predictable means they can be outplayed more easily than other roles but it means the most skillful thing you can do as a marksman is dodge skillshots, focus good targets and kite well after a brainless laning phase of last hitting minions and relying on someone else to start a fight in your favor

You will go through the phases where in the pre-30 matches there will be insanely fed Yi/Trynds running around. Be prepared

He's a high damage melee carry which means if he gets no early gold advantage he kinda sucks especially cause he's melee, he also has no slows or stuns so when you lock in master yi everyone knows you're an arsehole and that you're playing to wank over kill combos
you'll see a lot of master yi's literally wander around at the edge of teamfights waiting for someone to drop low and then activating highlander and alpha striking in and then when he gets 3 kills and lose anyway since the team was teamfighting for 10 seconds without him he'll type in chat "can't carry these noobs"

Yeah I got fed like mad and I got Youmuu in like 3 minutes and I spent the match ruining everything
once you get into matches where people actually start building guardian angel you'll see just how bad he can be

There is a meta and people will literally report you for not following it, needless to say you cannot get banned for this
People on death streaks are worth less and less gold the more they die
You do not lose gold for dying
You cannot buy back and there is no courier
Baron, the equivalent of Roshan, gives a team wide damage, and regen buff when it's killed, this is the main objective in the mid-lategame
Items cannot be dropped or traded
The focus is on farming and getting gold, people tend to think about what is 'worth' doing like diving a tower for a kill and then dying yourself but denying them the wave of creeps under their tower
Ability damage actually scales off stats
There are 3 kinds of damage, physical (mitigated by armor), magical (mitigated by magic resist) and true damage (cannot be reduced, the exception is if you apply a damage dealt debuff to a champ dealing true damage then it will be reduced NVM EVERYTHING IN THESE BRACKETS IS A COMPLETE LIE)
There are 2 damage dealing stats - attack damage (AD) and ability power (AP). attack damage increases your auto attack damage and the damage of abilities which scale off AD and ability power only scales the damage of abilities which scale with it
Items are less about utility like in DotA and more about stats
In the jungle are two hard camps called the Lizard Elder (red buff - gives a true damage and slow dot applied on auto attacks) and Spirit Golem (blue buff - gives mana regeneration and cooldown reduction)
baron buff doesn't give cdr
