It started doing this yesterday after my client crashed after a match. Can't get past this screen, just tells me the login failed and to go to Riot's website and bla bla bla.
try repairing your client

This happens to me sometimes.
Close your client, open internet explorer and then relaunch your client (with ie still open) and try to login. It works for me every time.
If that still doesn't work for you though then try some of the stuff here

NA server was down again today (and yesterday). It's on Riot's end
