You really only get 1% damage increase since it's only active 1/5 of the time.

Update on team dark over the cloudtemplar tribute: 1. They are disqualified from OGN and NLB (Alienware gets a free win) 2. All their matches are deleted from record, all are now 15 kill wins with all players on winning teams going 3/0/3 3.They lose their RO16 prize money. Peeps are pretty pissed about this

Why are they pissed about it, Team Dark obviously didn't take that game serious and were just fucking around. Justified punishment imo

They picked 5 troll champions, they invaded and did a 2 minute dragon. They failed hilariously, and then at 6-8 minutes in, the enemy team pushed down middle and finished the game at 8:24 [editline]26th November 2013[/editline] They where already out of the tournament afaik. You get paid to play those matches, at least that's how it is for LCS, not sure about OGN but I think it's about the same. If you don't take your job seriously you get fired, it's as simple as that. People buy tickets to see pros play, not to spectate bronze level games.

That said I can see why they wouldn't allow this as an exception, if they let these guys off this once just because people enjoyed it then in the future more teams might do it and it will lose its novelty.

Not to mention they pretty much gave Samsung a free win which is unfair for other teams that have to play real games to earn their victory. MVP points are also a thing to take in consideration in the OGN standings, this game fucked that up aswell. Maybe it wouldn't be such big of a deal if Team Dark had no chance whatsoever of getting through group stages, but they still had a chance if they would've won that game. I think that's the worst thing about this, they deliberately threw that game. I remember TSM pulling some troll shit at worlds with Dyrus playing as support, Xpecial mid, Reginald AD teemo etc, but they were against Gaming Gear EU who were already 0/8 in the standings so the outcome of the wouldn't have mattered at all.

imo the troll game with tsm and gg.eu wasn't that bad cause the game literally didn't matter as none of the teams had a chance to advance at that point but I think the better collusion/troll game example is that curse vs dig game way back. It was at MLG I think and they played ARAM during their game (both teams agreed) and there was a lot of drama behind it. Some people said it was a fun game and they shouldn't be penalized because it was fun to watch but some people said it was a kick in the teeth to the organizers and the people who wanted a real match.

And that was the first time any teams truly went all-troll. And the organisers + Riot teams didn't even know they were doing an ARAM until like 5 minutes in ahaha.

The problems were 1. Dark are already hated (Band of trolls and elo boosters lead by apdo himself before the ban) 2. Dark could advance, an absurd sequence of events featuring tying with ozone, 2-0ing alienware and alienware beating shield could get them through. 3. Outright 100% trolling is unprecedented, there has been some fucking around like MVP blue running anivia support one season when out but all five trolling + still could mathematically make it on top of the MVP + KDA awards getting skewed for ozone by it is troublesome.

I forgot the name of that practice in E-sports where you play like shit on purpose because you made an arrangement with the enemy team to split the prize, it's banned at most events and I would assume fucking around for the sake of fucking around, even without splitting the prize, is also not considered fair-play.
