It's a good way to gate some of her combos though, without increasing the cooldowns.
It preserves the potential options of her kit, without allowing her to use it all at once.
You know that energy has a way that allows you to restore it and fully complete your combo right? And Riven is able to 100 - 0 you in one combo, yes?

All champions with energy have energy restoring abilities or passives, so that good players can full combo every ability.

Riven being able to 100-0 with one combo isn't the issues, it's perfectly normal for someone to do that if you build a lot of damage.
The fact that she has an AD scaling shield on a low cooldown makes her fairly tanky even though she builds full damage, that's the problem.
Giving Riven high energy costs so she can't even pull of a full combo is retarded.

if, for some reason, they do make her energy dependent, they will probably make it so that she will have high enough energy costs that she cant do that
that would make her unviable, probably. energy isnt the way to go, i suppose

I've only gotten quadras. Many, many quadras. Even as Master Yi and Katarina, who've I've been told are the easest champs to get pentas with, I can only get quadras. :suicide:

Is there something going on with the NA login servers? Almost every time I try to log in it gives the generic "Cannot connect, please read this shitty page" message. The IP they give isn't responding to pings from me or isup.me, and the server status thread is getting like 2k views a day, so I'm wondering if there's something going on or I'm just an idiot
