first floor haunt with ??? is just the worst

I just had the best tears I've ever gotten in this game. Pulsating polyphemus tears that occuppied a quarter of the screen, pierced, split upon impact thanks to the parasite and had guaranteed fear. I lost to Mom's Heart just before killing her. At least I got Judas' Shadow, which is what I was aiming to get.

Why would they even do that? Is the idea to escape battle when you're losing?

Okay, I've made it to Depths 2 in my first 3 lives (I've had a little bit of experience with the first game, but not really) I think my problem with this game is that I'm pretty lost in terms of what to do. I just go to the treasure room and fight the bosses, I just don't know what I'm looking for in terms of other rooms and don't know what's really useful and what risks I should be taking and that's the problem, because I go to depths 2 with basically just weapon upgrades with not a ton of health. I blow at finding secret rooms too, I see rooms clustered on the map and try blowing a hole in between them and never get much luck.. It's still a blast though, but if anyone has some tips that'd be appreciated :D

Some of the generated rooms really piss me off sometimes, especially ones that simply don't give you enough foot room.

I can't think of a challenge as fucking awful as "Head Trauma" Orbiting tears and fucking soy milk, jesus christ. For a pitiful reward too.

aaaaa i havent been agle to get past Womb 1, i tried 5 different runs today and each one of them ended up in me getting bum killed by a silly mistake or a boss and i had no "useful" upgrades

I've encountered a room, then when watching a streamer, I saw him get the same room, and then I was playing for a bit and saw the same room again.

If it pops up again I'll take a screenshot I wouldn't be surprised if there was Final Boss Gurdy at this point, what there being gurdlings, that lesser gurdy that likes to slide all over the place, Gurdy, and Ur Gurdy.[/sp] Also, if you're having trouble with Head Trauma, get some shot speed items, enough to get it to at least 3+. Once you hit 3, you'll be producing enough tears to beat the challenge pretty handily. Also, for things that chase you, remember that you fire behind you, and it'll make short work of chasers. I've been trying to get Head Trauma and Solar System so long my fingers are starting to cramp up. Also, doing a Maggy Run, with Tech 1, 2 and Brimstone Baby. Took 1 damage during th Womb and nearly ripped my hair out. Anyone else feel like the boss rush isn't actually difficult either? I feel if you can beat mom you can do it pretty easy
