I find it a bit odd how Edmund and in-game sprites imply that Mulligan will have the tears themselves be flies, but in reality it's just tears that spawn flies. I imagine that playing the game where your only main method of attack is to draw your fly battalion close to an enemy would be a bit more unique than having it simply augment your existing tears. But then I suppose that'd cause some odd conflicts with other tear-changers. Although I'd like to send a squad of exploding flies at enemies in true kamikaze fashion.

It's not quite ambient, but not quite fighting music either.

I just hope there's an option to toggle soundtracks. The basement theme has become iconic for me.

It's the reason why Bloat and green zombies are only recolors. Edmund said long time ago that in Rebirth, he can add a lot of ideas that he couldn't in flash and that includes items. He also said items will be rebalanced. Some items are intentionally bad too, like lemon mishap.

not really liking the new art style but hopefully it will grow on me.

I swear as I unlock new items in this game, it deactivates others. I used to get at least one of the technology items every game, and now I don't think I've seen one in like, 50 games.
