The fact that they added a continue option makes this sooo much better than the original, cuz it means I could start a run around midnight, get tired, go to bed and be able to pick it right up the next day. Unless the original had a continue option, then FML, I wasted so many nights back at uni trying to complete runs.

so I've upgraded my shop to around 300 coins, and usually have 4 or so items to choose from, but I saw someones stream who had less coins donated but had a lot more options. has he just been bombing coins out or is there another way to increase shop inventory?

If you bomb too many times the counter will reset, same for when you reach 1000. He probably did one of those.

Doing Suicide King again. Picked up Cursed Eye. Game have mercy on me, if I can find a Black Candle in a shop on a later floor I'll be fine but dear god this is a hilariously-disastrous mistake.

Like an earlier game as Isaac where I picked up triple shot and then monstro's lung. The lung didn't seem to make my damage go up all that much, but it did make me charge for a full 5 seconds or so to actually shoot. Well, I kept playing, and got quite a few health ups. Things were going okay (if a little slow due to the absurdly low fire rate), but the curse of blindness made it so that I picked up the cat. With 8 health slots. Thankfully I managed to also find the holy shield. The one that lets you take 1 hit per room. I also managed to find Guppy's paw and tail, and as a direct result of that, I managed to actually beat [sp]mega-satan[/sp], since the absurd amount of projectiles spawned by monstro's lung made me spawn enough flies to instantly kill just about anything. Clutch plays the entire time though - I had to beat all of the womb with effectively 2 health.

Trying to do the Waka Waka challenge but oh god antigrav tears are so terrible.

Interesting, I crashed after killing boss and jumping down hatch and latest save was at beginnig of that floor, sound sort of like abuseable way to get fastest times on each floor by just killing exe during "load scene" if you perform badly.

Just finished Suicide king.....Suicide King + hook worm +quad shot was hilarious but horrifying
