What's the difference between cupid's arrow an death's touch, if any?

I don't really get the new devs obsession with making enemies that can teleport inside of you to hurt you. Am I mistaken because I really don't remember that happening in the original BOI? I almost beat blue baby but near the end he literally got all his damage from teleporting inside of me, which I couldn't defend against lol. At least [sp]mega satan[/sp] doesn't pull that shit. Lumps suddenly do that now, as does blue baby final stage. I really don't get how to avoid it fffffffffffffffffffffffffff

any tips for waka waka because this shit is just getting tedious

In fact Cupid's Arrow is kinda worthless now since there are items that do the same thing, except better (i.e. Sagittarius and Dead Onion). I really don't like how there are some enemies that you just can't avoid unless you kill them before they can do anything. [editline]dick[/editline] Talking about unavoidable damage, is there even a way not to take damage in that one room in the Chest with two Adversaries in it? That just looks impossible, there's no way to avoid that homing Brimstone.

And for lumps, that won't work either. They instantly fire upon emerging and sometimes just pop up in front of you making you run into them. It's unavoidable.

For the eyes it's okay since they look at you and you can see that they will fire at you, but some of the bosses (it lives i.e) can just fire brimstone without notice and do some really cheap damage

Once you get it down really low, start attacking from a safe spot. I can't remember how the laser beam starts, if its a cross or an X, but whichever it is yeah just start attacking from a safe point once its near death.

Diden't grab a screenshot but my last Eden run culminated to Ludo Tech + Quad Shot + Shielded Tears + Pulse Worm. It was a giant pulsing tear with three smaller tears that orbited around it all of which blocked shots. Awesome.

He was especially troublesome while trying to knock out Waka Waka, but eventually I did it. Took time. Also beat Waka Waka, but no one cares.

You just have to be able to keep some distance from him. He opens his mouth for a second before firing the brimstone, so you have a warning on that one, and his other projectiles move slow enough to give you an opportunity to dodge. Like I said, you're only really in trouble if you have really short range for any reason, because that makes the non-brimstone attack near impossible to dodge.

Are there champion versions of the new bosses? I'm not seeing any, pretty disappointing

It sucks that some enemies' effectiveness comes exclusively from the RNG behind them. The two worst offenders are the barely predictable lump location when they reappear and the completely unpredictable, undodgable 2 random light beams from Isaac's second phase.

Decided to give "Cursed" a go, seemed not hard, just an asspain and then I picked up you know fucking who's brain Just flat out restarted. Not worth it. On a side note tho Cursed doesn't seem fun or anything. I just take a lot of damage but hearts spawn and there's Treasure rooms, but it's literally not worth your life to get them

Hey looks like if you stand still when ??? teleports, he will teleport next to you but you won't be damaged. Maybe that's how you're supposed to avoid it.

Fuck "Cat Got Your Tongue". This is like solar system but 10 times harder.
