Awesome devil item? Worth it. Take all of the Devil Deals. I end nearly all my runs with only soul and black hearts. Only have 9 coins? Throw them ALL to the beggar. Ipecac? My Reflection? Fuck it; beat Suicide King, I can do it again. Then you hit a 1 Dice Room and reroll into Polyphemus, Death Touch, Ludovico, 20/20 and then shove all those devil deals right back up Satan's ass.

I hate how the Chest is still DPS circlejerk palace, which was something I hoped they would fix. I'm not going to sit there scraping away at double Cages because the game didn't give me the right items. You know, I can come into this thread and bitch and moan all I want, but the fact is that this is the only game that I've played since release. This is still one of the best games of this year, so don't let my overly critical post give you the wrong idea.

Fetus in a jar is kind of terrible now. The bombs are like shitty tears that do similar damage. When I first got it I was like "FUCK YEAH BOMBS FOR TEARS" but then those crying, fly-coughing babies didn't die from one bomb and I got sad. Only good thing is that secret rooms are no longer secrets with me carpet-bombing every single wall.

Beat fucking suicide king. By getting the broken watch, matyr, guppy's head, brimstone, lots of HP up pills, and a 1-up shroom. While it may seem that brimstone was the key, it was actually the broken watch. It slowed Isaac, making the battle a cinch. I had also gotten a chaos card, but wasted it before I realized what I had. :( Good thing I didn't actually need it. Best fucking run ever. Fuuuuuck that challenge. By far the most irritating one I've done.

Chaos Card is such an amazing unlock and active item, really.

Killed mom easy with judas, am guppy with 20/20 and bunch of damage ups. At that point I forgot if it was blue baby or the lamb I had yet to kill with judas, so I get out and to the new game screen to see which one it was. It was blue baby, allright. I go back and select continue AND THE GAME [B]FUCKING[/B] RESPAWNS ME ON THE [B]FUCKING NEGATIVE[/B] fuck this. no, really. Either add the 'what you've done yet' to the ingame pause room, or if I get out and back in don't resfuckingspawn me where the negative is. Fuck you.

So I had an interesting run moment the other day. I went to open a red chest and it teleported me to the devil room. So I'm thinking "cool, this runs off to a great start" but then it gave me the three chest devil room. Now, I didnt even know this was possible but two of the three chests just teleporter me back into the devil room. Just goes to show that this game can really give you the finger sometimes.

I think the cursed eye teleports you while you're charging. I've got it in a run where I had Dr. Fetus, was never teleported. Sadly they don't synergize, was hoping for 5 bombs in a row.

I actually beat the heart for the first time ever. So Samson's trick is the more damaged he gets the stronger his attack gets? I had really nice drops, too, a good balance of heatlh, damage and babies.

Does anyone have tips for [sp]getting to Isaac as Blue Baby[/sp]? The farthest I've gotten is [sp]It Lives[/sp] but I died when it was at 1/4th health

In Rebirth Samson (and by extension Bloody Lust) now gains dmg from you getting hit, and it stays for the floor, not for the room.

The key is to work on your dodging to avoid as much damage as you can in the early floors, especially against bosses since that will maximize your chances of getting a Devil room. If the first Devil room you get contains a really good item such as the Pact, the Mark or the Whore of Babylon, then do take it, otherwise ignore it (although you can open the red chests if there are any). This will almost always guarantee an Angel room in the next floor, which will either contain items that may increase your survivability, or much needed spirit hearts. If you want to go into details, the probability for a Devil room to spawn is the highest when you don't take any red heart damage in the entire floor, and when you defeat the boss without taking any damage at all. Since ??? has no red hearts, you don't need to worry about the first factor, just stay focused when fighting bosses. If you find a Devil room but do not make a deal (Krampus and red chests do not count as a deal), then the next Devil room has a high chance of turning into an Angel room. Always look for spirit hearts or black hearts. That means keeping your eye open for tinted rocks, always buying spirit hearts in the shop, bombing the skulls and blue fires in the Depths or the Necropolis (skulls have a chance to contain black hearts or cards and blue fires have a chance to contain spirit hearts), and getting any item that gives you spirit hearts or black hearts whenever you have the opportunity (notably the Book of Revelations and the Nail, which both give you spirit hearts, and the Satanic Bible, which gives you black hearts). If you don't find any of those, the Poop is still a rather useful item. Pop it every time it's ready for a chance to get an extra consumable. Works pretty well if you find the Petrified Poop. If you have bombs, you can even use it as a rock to create a bridge to cross small holes in the ground.

Had a perfectly good cain run going with supermaxed damage. Was demolishing anything and everything. Went into a treasure room, had the curse that made it so you can't see what items you're picking up. Soy Milk. My rage can only be expressed in Haiku Boss battle with soy Valiant effort wasted Not enough damage

Cursed! is easily some of the least fun I've had playing video games, holy shit. Tedious and even more reliant on RNG than the normal game.
