Soy milk is a shit item, unless you find Libra. Turns out that they synergize incredibly well. Libra balances out several of your stats (fire rate, damage, and range iirc). Since Soy Milk's fire rate is ridiculously out-of-bounds, it supermaxes your damage and range, while still keeping your fire rate really respectable. How do seeds interact with item unlocks? Like if I get an item with a particular seed, will another player also get it with that seed if they don't have it unlocked?

I don't know how long but I've heard from 1 min to 5 mins. I also don't know if it's every room or just those rooms where your range can screw with you. And if you don't mind modding, someone is working on a mod where it makes those rooms a bit easier for low range runs. Dear lord, I have monstro's lung, ipecac, pyromaniac, and several damage upgrades on my current run. Not to mention, I have rotten baby spitting out super high damage homing flies for me, thanks rotten baby. Seriously rotten baby is such a good item. And sacred heart, but sadly the homing doesn't work with the lung. Edit: Libra made my tears homing, and also made me charge super fast. GG blue baby, GG.

And Golden God down, something I never got in the first game. With Eden no less. Dr Fetus might not hurt on its own, but add Loki's Horns, Polyphemus, Triple Shot and a bunch of damage upgrades and it's like Suicide King 2: Nuclear Boogaloo.

While the run will be a success, I'll have lost who I was and the run will have been worthless.

Anyone else enjoying the Cellar theme as much as I am? Especially when the guitar kicks in, holy shit. 3:12 onward is [b]amazing[/b] imo. The other songs are great but they're not really "songs". They're more like ambience. The theme when you die is also pretty sweet.

Taking devil deals that would otherwise kill, resetting your range to normal if you've got piss-poor reach (only seems to work with Lazarus though), deliberately transforming into ??? for perma low-health items to take effect, transforming into Judas for extra damage. I have not gotten around to seeing if the Dead Cat exploit is still present. Judging by how quiet the community has been about it and how spawning in enemies won't reset a room, my bets are on the exploit being fixed. Resetting boss rooms for bonus items was one of the reasons why Dead Cat was super OP in vanilla if you knew how to use it. Doubly so if your boss was the Fallen. Dying does not make a run lost. But dying and transforming into a character that's [i]not[/i] lost is incredibly frustrating to sink time into only to see it go up in smoke.

PSA Saving and exiting from the Mom fight will spawn you on top of [sp]the negative[/sp], make the devil room go away, and get rid of all your instant-kill spiders and flies I'm just going to take a screenshot of the character select screen every run so I don't fuck up this badly again [editline]23rd November 2014[/editline] Maybe it's only if the entrance is at the bottom (I forget if you can enter from other directions for that fight, or if it matters since all the doors are gone)

So, I managed to somehow get to the Chest early by way of Undefined leading me to a super lucky 3-in-a-row I AM ERROR room spree. I lost 3 fucking hearts to red poop before getting to ??? (luckily found 2 hearts to help bolster me up to 3) and I fucking died when he had an inkling of health left. So, like an aggro fuckhead I am, I slammed by Vita down on my bed behind me... hitting a hand weight I had rested there earlier and fucking up my Vita. The memory and game card in there are fine, but the screen is busto and no longer transmits. I hope the warranty covers this. edit: It doesn't. I'm fucked.

Taking down ??? with base damage is such a grind. I had Little Steven and Rainbow Baby backing me up but holy shit did that take ages. I actually heard the battle theme start to loop it was taking so long.

Finally got an Eden run to Mom's Heart. Finding Taurus on level 1 and the D10 in the Depths was crucial to my success. It's ridiculously good once you're past the first few levels, and comboed really well with Taurus.
