I grabbed every single one
man, they ramped up the fuckin difficulty on mom's heart; it used to be a lot easier than this
I disagree. It used to be more luck-based (when the heart / It Lives started randomly bombing) with enemies spawning you had to look out for and kill. Now you can dodge everything and the hearts tears kill the enemies so you don't have to worry about anything after the initial eyes. I pretty much kill It Lives every time I encounter it now.
Suicide King challenge, Womb 2, Placenta, 2 hearts left with 8 containers
Yep, I'll do it
ok is there any way i can track my progress towards platinum god? this is very overwhelming
Top left corner in character select, there are icons that show you what you've beaten.
i just seed myself a standard damage item so im guaranteed that the game is actually fun and not a goddamn chore
also is it me or does dingle's charge autotrack? if i'm playing isaac instead of azazel and he shows up before i get any speed boosts its just goddamn impossible to dodge if he hasn't spawned poops yet which made unlocking samson a real pain in the ass
But then you don't unlock anything at all, and that's terrible.

Holy fucking dicks this took literally 26 hours because I had to do it multiple times but at the end it was worth it so yay I guess

Now what's the easiest way to get a level 4 meat boy?
Also do I need to unlock coop babies for normal plat god? I only have 3 challenges and 2 boss kills left
Fucking red polips inside of mom's womb appearing below me with zero consistency just made me lose a great try at Suicide King where I had the tlepathy for dummies that recharged every room .
goddamn nicalis in charge of telegraphing.

AFAIK, Book of Revelations and a shitload of luck.

Get an early Book of Revelations and pray that the game doesn't give you double-trouble anything, Headless Horseman, Conquest, or a Ball of Bandages instead.
In a pinch, Monster Manual can make a Super Meat Boy familiar too, although it's entirely luck-dependent.
I've gotten Book of Revelations on the first floor twice and both times I got fucking Conquest in the womb instead of Death.
This will be tedious as fuck

I fucking love Pulse Worm and Ring Worm
Well, may as well start thinking of some new items.
Common Cents: Basically a money = power for fire rate
Kings Conversation: First enemy you kill becomes a temporary ally for that room
Step Ladder: 2 square ladder
Golden Bomb: Unlimited bombs for that floor
Coin Slinger: Use space to shoot coins, bounces off of enemies before falling to the ground
Powered Chili: Getting hit causes you to leave a trail of flames for a bit
No one has any input on my ideas? Are they that bad?
Finally got the fixed Stopwatch that you get for putting 999 coins in the donation machine, god damn.
The amount of legitimate runs you'd need to do because the donation machine keeps jamming every time you put in a single coin is infuriating.
I just went as Cain and praised the game would give me a Quarter, Pageant Boy or something so I could spend everything on the donation machine and reset every time it jammed or by the time I reached the third floor.
It took several hours just by doing that method alone, and most of those runs ended up jamming the machine after 5 coins.

I really wish there was a reliable way to unjam the damn thing.
Every single time I get a run that has a solid amount of extra coins, I end up jamming the thing after two pennies.
The wiki says that bombing it has a chance to unjam it, but it must be pretty damn small, since it's never actually happened to me.
Actually, that could be a neat item. "The Wrench - fixes all machines in the room".
As in not only does it unjam the donation machine, but it also replaces slot/fortune teller machines as well as blood donation machines.
No one has any input on my ideas? Are they that bad?
Nah if they were really bad, someone would have pointed it out. :v: They're good ideas, but they're not absolutely game changing or anything so there isn't much to say about them, which is probably why everyone's too lazy to write a reply. But hey, sucks not to have feedback so here you go.
Common Cents is a very simple and straightforward item, the kind of thing you would have no reason not to pick up, so that's always good.
Kings Conversation is basically a permanent charm effect on one enemy, so I suppose that's always better than the current charming tears we have that don't even give charmed enemies time to do any significant damage.
I doubt the Step Ladder would be much better than the Ladder, how many times do you need to cross a 2 square hole to reach an item or consumable anyway?
Golden Bomb wouldn't really make sense, but it would certainly be great. Find one, get all the secret rooms and tinted rocks for free. Wouldn't mind that.
I think Coin Slinger is too similar to other reusable spacebar items that shoot projectiles. The fact that it uses a coin doesn't really matter much because unless you use it to hit an enemy in an inaccessible place, you're almost always going to get your coins back.
And finally Powdered Chili is too similar to Anemic, which is to be honest, a bad item. I'm personally not very fond of items that only trigger when you get hit.
I want to cry
just got to dark room as the lost and got a double adversary room
Is it just me or do the dice room item rerolls give you really good item combos? First time I tried it, I got homing technology with a bunch of other good stuff. Second time I tried it, I went from a shitty minimum damage eve run with one heart to max damage with monstro's lung + money is power + 99 coins and a bunch of other great stuff (holy mantle, lil brimstone, 5 hearts, sad bombs). Then went on to beat [sp]the dark room[/sp] without taking damage. Maybe I just have crazy good luck.
Essentially, it turned my run into this:
[t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/23971377492953507/27D82716F65E65FCA56FF128A0E90A5C1B05AAA3/[/t]
And then you get tiny planet monstro lung
Btw if you alt f4 before dying, launch the game and continue, you will start the same run at the floor you died at. It has to be before last will but after you take lethal damage
The reason the haunt sucks is because A he's a first floor boss and B: His little ghost fuckers LEAD their shots. If you're not a faster character you'll pretty much get hit if they decide to fire at you.

I had a Monstro's Lung run this afternoon, was pretty successful albeit with many cases of taking stupid damage, at least one of them caused by Bob's Brain, which otherwise I actually didn't have too much trouble with.
Beat Mom's Heart, got a coat hanger stuck through my head, 4 successes down. Such is life in the basement.
I thought of a way to make ??? a bit harder to fight, since I find him even easier then Isaac.
First change the teleport. It's cheap to just make him teleport onto the player for free damage half the time. Instead, ??? teleports and then after a second or two lands at the players location, generating a shockwave like the Adversary's attack.
Then add in ???'s only friend to the last phase of the fight. The blue fly mimics ???'s movement like a dople would, and fires out bullets when ??? does.
That's about all I got to make it at least somewhat more challenging.
the haunt and gurglings are both bullshit first floor bosses
I just got killed by mom's toenail on the Womb II :v:
I've never seen mom's toenail do anything for me, it always either hits me or does nothing.
oh my lord the d4 just rerolled my screw into holy mantle
get hype

I believe this is due to it ignoring "special" stats, but I could be wrong given rebirth may not even have that hidden stat anymore.
Managed to fuck up by accidentally picking up a dead cat which I forgot I left right outside a door. Lost 8 hearth containers, but at least I could go back and pick up another dead cat I got from a curse room.
Dark bum is the mvp in this follower train and the only reason I beat mom/hearth.

I only ever seem to get dice rooms when I'm already happy with my items. When I'm just scraping by I never manage to find one.
I might be slightly overpowered.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.....
If you manage to get brimstone, ludvico, and become guppy in the same run, you should just automatically win. Ending 0: Isaac breaks out of the chest and wrecks havoc on the earth with his army of flies.
FUCK YOU MAMA GURDY!!!!
Anyway, I had few good runs, I even used [sp]the bible on the heart.[/sp]
I'm having no luck in building meat boy or bandage girl. Even with book of revelations found early on.
