Let me tell you about my best run ever. I get Inner Eye in the first few floors IIRC 2 Guppy Pieces in the same devil room. Accept deals. 1 of them is guppys head. Equip it then unequip it. REEEEROOOOLLLL Guppy's Paw. Yay. Shielded Tears + Dead Onion. Another Devil room. Stuff is eh, REROLL Brimstone. Soon after that, TAMMYS HEAD. Got Isaac to half health in about a second, was making too many flies to count.

to become guppy you don't actually need to own 3 items, for example you can pick up guppy's head, use it and then drop it and it still counts [editline]27th November 2014[/editline] got guppy by the second basement as eden, managed to get all the way to the chest before dying

Alright, so I've got a pretty good strategy for ???. 1.) Begin first foor. 2.) Repeat first floor until you get Demon Bum 3.) *step 2 may take up to 12 hours. Be aware.

Cursed Eye can be pretty good honestly. It synergizes with triple/quad shot, fully charged shoots 15/20 tears at once, just need to avoid damage WHILE charging to not get teleported.

Blue Baby really isn't that bad, he is the first character I've unlocked everything with mainly because he was also the first character I've tryharded with(aka not rushing through levels by ignoring machines and everything). Just carefully search for tinted rocks and blow up every blue fire you can find and you're set. Also curse chests have a decent chance to give you a soul heart, shops, fortune machines... You're bound to get something good and if you're not getting anything soul heart related, there's a higher chance you'll get an OP damage item or two. Often Satan's room gives you 3 curse chests or 2 black hearts. And because the deals are expensive, there's a high possibility for an Angel room. If I'm not mistaken skulls also have a chance to drop a black heart instead of usual cards they drop so if it's a shitload-of-bombs run, just use them on that. There are A LOT more options with blue baby now than it was in vanilla However Beans and Family Man challenges can go suck my dick

I got to Isaac on ??? in hard mode and died the same second Isaac died because he shot one more tear while disappearing and I was standing around like an idiot with 0,5 hearts. Going to off myself now.

okay it's all well and good you're great at ??? but every time I play him the only items I get are wooden spoons and underwears meaning by the depths I am just useless

They're the main reason I hesitate to play as the lost, I just know that my run is gonna be ruined by their bullshit. (Or some other teleporting enemy) Imo they're a giant black spot on an otherwise amazingly fun game, I don't know who thought that was a good idea.

Spiders are a bunch of assholes

Winning boss rush with items that aren't necessarily that powerful is the best feeling

Spiders primary existence is to move erratically and then ruin what you thought was going to be a no damage floor.

Doing the darkness falls challenge I ended up dying on satan cause I missed with my chaos card :suicide: I really hate the last phase.

I wish there was a challenge that spawned you with the D4, Missing No., and a few "meh" to middling items. I could totally see myself playing it multiple times, unlike many of the current challenge runs.

so I get amazing luck on the lost, got holy mantle and nine lives but absolutely no damage whatsoever, but I manage to snag a lil brimstone and rotten baby to carry me a floor or two until I hopefully get some damage get mongo baby, he overwrites lil brimstone and rotten baby gg game. gg

Any tips on completing the game as ???. I always seem to be dying..

So you basically had Lil Brimstone and Rotten Baby in one package. That's what it [b]should[/b] do, anyways.

Mongo Baby isn't supposed to replace a familiar, only copy its tears, so Mongo Baby replacing familiars outright sounds like a bug.
