Of course 20/20, Triple Shot and Quad Shot don't synergize, as I actually managed to find all 3 in one run. Come on Ed, I wanna shoot 24 tears in one burst. I even managed to find the Tiny Mushroom so my fire rate was pretty quick compared to just default quad shots

Is there any kind of "secret" to playing The Lost well? I thought I was a genius when I came up with the idea of resetting until I spawn next to a treasure room with a decent item in it. But are there any other big ideas that might make a huge difference? Right now the farthest I've gotten is womb 1

Guppy's Paw only has 2 uses: 1 third toward Guppy or teleport cheesing if you have the Broken Remote. Razor Blade is useless unless you have Gnawed Leaf. Satanic Bible is literally worthless. We Need to Go Deeper isn't advised unless you're okay with skipping treasure rooms. Dark Bum is counterproductive. Gimpy is 99.9% useless. Judas' Shadow throws your run in the toilet. Missing Page 2 is worthless. If that's all that the game offers, you may want to skip taking a Devil Item in hopes that the angel room you get is something worthwhile like Holy Mantle. Also only reason I say Dark Bum and Gimpy are ill-advised is because item pickups are still potentially useful if your run has a D20. Dark Bum consuming 2 hearts to spit out 1 heart isn't worth losing what could potentially turn into a key. Gimpy is only usable if you respawn after spawning the heart when you're hit, but again this relies on the D20.

Just had a bit ridiculous run as Maggy with ipecac,magic mushroom,20/20(can be any other multiple tears item) and dr.fetus,this combination literally turns you into kamikaze,gladly that ipecac paired with dr.fetus cancels damage from your own shots,also,i didnt use Chaos Card because i forgot that i had it for a moment. So Ipecac and Dr. Fetus makes you have poison bombs that you're immune to and explode on contact. It's amazing.

I beat family man first try, thanks to 4 pretty fly pills and meat cube making me invincible to most attacks.

Man, compared to my performance in the original I'm doing more than good. I'm nowhere near as good as you guys and even further from getting that 111% but I'm so happy to say getting to mom is easy for me now. The womb parts depend on my items and enemy spawns but when I get good items I don't waste them. Also last run I got two angel rooms. One had what I think was temporary invincibility, the other was the bible. I left both of them behind because they would replace my horse/flight item. Lastly, can brimstone spawn in treasure rooms?

Undefined is such a good item in the Chest. You can just keep refreshing the floor by taking a trip to the ERROR room. Sadly I ran out of keys so the fun had to stop. Extremely convenient timing that the ERROR room contained Dad's Key, so I bumrushed MS with my fuckton of damage.

Dammit, why does the book of revelations and the bible look so similar. Oh well, now I know why "the bible" didn't kill the heart.

Doing Suicide King, find a dice room one in necropolis II, think fuck yes I can roll the ipecac+my reflection away. Step on the dice, get Dr.Fetus + loki's horns instead. And that is how I became the Suicide Duke, or Suicide Earl, or suicide whatever the fuck else. Died at mom's heart ofc. Fuck this challenge.

Why would you ever get Soy Milk? Or Tiny Planet, for that matter, I got Mom's Knife in the same run and it became virtually impossible to hit things...

Holy shit Monstro's lung and Chocolate Milk is easy win combo I thought lung's charge up is gonna be even more ridiculous, but it's actually shorter and the damage is massive(two-shotting bosses) Also Monstro's Lung is probably my favorite passive item after Anti Gravity, it's so satisfying

Went for an Azazel run. Got Mom's knife in the second tresure room. Okay. Third treasure room. Demon baby. Okay. Third devil deal room. Lil' Brimstone. Okay. Blasted my way through Mom for the rush room. Mutant spider as a choice pickup. Okay. Beat boss challenge. Mitre. Okay. Also a shitload of positive pill effects, and some other items. And that's how I beat ??? for the first time in Rebirth.

There was this single big-ass Larry Jr in a big rectangular room coming at me. I had piercing shot and high damage :3 So satisfying.
