God, Demoman is such a boring challenge. Not because its hard but because Dr Fetus is nerfed to such oblivion territories it jsut takes forever to get anything done.

Must just be super rare I guess.

Really should of looked up Libra before I picked it up in the dark room. It dropped my damage to 1 (from 4), making the Dr. Fetus bombs about as effective as water balloons. Did like 1-3% damage to famine, so I just let the next room kill me.

I've got to remember to stop playing the challenges because it just makes me hate this game. With minor tweaks some of them wouldnt be that bad but the way they are, fuck. Beans, Demoman, Solar System, Cat and Family Man can all go suck it.

Libra is such a wonky item really. The 6 pickups are nice but being fucked out of stats because of however the balancing works makes me want to avoid it like Experimental Treatment or Bob's Brain.

I've only gotten a Meat Boy to lvl 4 once, and even rarer to lvl 3. I feel Meat Boys the only way to really knock out a few challenges like Family Man or solar system, he wreks

It's kinda weird, I beat pretty much every challenge (that I have unlocked) in one sitting, but in over a week I have not been able to do shit with The Lost. He is the one true challenge for me.

Got blank card + 2 of diamonds in family man. Woohoo, infinite money! Get curse of the blind, but who cares I can afford to buy everything in the shop! Little baggy. Fuck this game.

Anyone else fucing hate getting damage upgrades? ..... .... Did that work? Will I get damage upgrades for Demo Man now? Because I'mat the Depths with the standard 2 damage you start with and it took me 3 minutes to kill gurdy.

I wish tear-transformers were a [i]bit[/i] more common. I wanna play with monstro's lung and technology and stuff more, not regular tears that are kinda stronger or faster than your starting tears...

The vast majority of my runs are the standard +TEARS + SPEED sort of deal that I end up just cancelling. The harsh truth of this game is if you aren't OP as fuck by the Depths you're probably not going to win.

Went through a run as ???, managed to get cursed shot (Which I actually kind of like, only got teleported with it once from accidentally walking into some creep left by an enemy), proptosis, and a good deal of other damage boosters. Monstro's Lung + Ipecac + circle worm + pulse worm is by far the most terrifying combo I've ever had. It's just giant spinning pulsating explosive death bubbles. Everything died in about 1-2 shots. Bosses included, barring Satan, which took about 3-4 shots. Honestly, I'd love a final reward that just lets you mess with what items you get to start with so you could see really insane combos that are possible. Kinda like the BASEMENT seed, but letting you pick what items you start with so you could try synergies.

The amount of skill required to beat some of the challenges is so ridiculously high that the real challenge is just surviving until you find some item that lets you bypass the whole point of the challenge.

The ones that take you to Isaac or Satan tend to give you a powerful item set anyway, only exception being Family Man.

Also had shit like magnet tears so dodging enemies was a pain in the ass. Now being the dumbass I am I pick up the dead cat in cathedral secret room. Back to 1 heart container. Somehow in 4 lives I manage to beat isaac and go into the chest. THERES A D6 IN THERE - YESSSSS. Take piercing tears and D6, reroll items get technology baby and Mom's bra. Die 3 times to various bosses in the chest. Find the boss room. Reroll the Mom's bra - GET MOM'S KNIFE! Now I had this 0.5 heart shield and Taurus so just barely I stab ??? in the eye.

ugh I had the most beautiful run where I thought I was finally going to beat the no hits in Cathedral with my Holy Mantle, gigantic shielded tears and Chaos Card. Then I got to Isaac and threw the card into a wall and got hit by holy beams twice. Very distressing moment. Got Dark Boy for no hits in the depths earlier today, at least. I'm sure no hits in Cathedral will happen eventually. It really should, and with the talks of being able to stack seeds for the expansion it might happen when that comes out.

For no reason other than giving them as little room as possible to be visibly obscured by Satan's feet. If he stomps at the bottom of the arena, that's a lot of space that you no longer have vision in. Also Satan's feet got nerfed since vanilla, you can freely touch them after the stomp impact without being injured. If you want to rub him with any on-contact effects or orbitals, go for it. And if you get Pyromaniac, you're effectively invincible since the stomps are considered explosions and the exploding leeches are considered explosions it's a grande ole time.

If I buy brimstone on the solar system challenge, can I use it?
