Can anyone confirm this? It sounds pretty useful

it's like a lot less damage than they'd take just being hit by the bomb though

I had magnetic tears and boomerang tears among other things. This caused fucking Scolex to kick my ass because the tears pulled him to me at mach 3 when I shot and he almost never showed up tail first so I could damage him during the bomb-shots. :v:

Yeah, I hate these, too. It's annoying how much damage they can take. I think I know what my new most hated room is. It's a big room with shitload of Walking Hosts and lines of the stone heads that shoot projectiles [del]until the room is cleared[/del] actually keep shooting.

My most hated room is that narrow walkway with skulls and 2 of those hanged dudes with a fly around them. It's pretty hard to not get hit.

Today I decided to finally beat Suicide King. Mom's Knife shows up. There's another challenge down then.

What happens if you use a level skip item on Womb II? Does it randomly pick Cathedral/Sheol? Does it base it on whether you have the polaroid or negative?

Whether it's a trapdoor to the next stage or a hidden item room is entirely random. You can never go to the Cathedral via the shovel.

I just experienced my most fun run, which resulted from a synergy between Anti-Gravity tears and 20/20 (Among other power ups). I literally just breezed through the game. I just wish I had been able to continue past Mom's heart, I really think I could have gone much further. Seed was 0GCY S03C

My most fun run was Gnawed Leaf + Blood Rights as Eden. I breezed thorough the game without even using tears [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] Also useful info: Protopsis doesn't sinergize with Tammy's Head. That means you will just fire giant tears with high range and damage that don't get smaller. [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] And also: that one powerup that make bombs heal you, also make the earthquake attacks from The Adversary and Cage heal you.

Had the blank card + chaos card, fuck this will be easy win. Got to Peep, pressed Q instead of spacebar brb, killing self irl [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] Ok. So Dead Cat Lost's infinite tries bug goes away when you're against the lamb. I wish I knew.

I wish I knew.[/QUOTE] The bug with Dead Cat on the lost wasn't infinite tries (you still get 9 lives, you just can't see the extra lives), the bug (and has been fixed), the near inability to take damage while on a second life - you could take 255 hits per floor regardless of how much damage those hits did (even if they did none, or even healed you such as with Pyromaniac) [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] I'm pretty sure the 255 hits per floor is actually a generic failsafe that triggers regardless of whether you've bugged the game or not, but I've never been in such a position to test during "normal" gameplay.

I forgot to mention that yesterday I got all the way to [sp]Satan[/sp] for the first time. I guess I panicked too much, I had good items but meeting a boss for the first time always makes me a bit nervous.

I wish curses weren't so fucking common in Rebirth. Getting fucking curse of the unknown 3 floors in a row is bullshit. Especially after getting the shittiest curse there is, curse of the blind. I just want to punch Ed for adding that.
