I hear boss rush is the hardest part to do for the lost, which makes sense. I've finally got the Dark Room beat with him as well; Guppy and Brimstone too good. Any tips for boss rush? It's next on the hit-list.

Gurdy jr. has instantly charged at me before.

my favorite thing about the boss rush is having something that lets you teleport out and basically just picking an item to have for free

I'd rather re-do the game as The Lost a hundred times over than trying to farm for lvl4 meat boy. ugh. Still cant get that damn achievement. When I pick up one crucial item, nothing else goes right.

Getting a dice room that rerolls your items in a challenge run is the best thing.

Was having a great Eden run on hard. Had Mom's knife and a lot of damage and health ups. Suddenly curse of the blind. I enter the item room "whats the worst that can happen?" Tiny planet. I couldn't hit shit, I basically gave up after 3 rooms.

is tiny planet ever useful with tears?

Well if anyone doesn't have the game yet, it's about £7 for the next two days. So yeah, that's a thing. Also concerning the Boss Rush, I beat it first as Azazel. Funny how flying and short-range Brimstone make things all the more easy if you can just sit on a rock and vomit blood on passers-by like some sort of Carious Weltling.

The thing is, I keep on trying to beat Head Trauma, but unless you can up your damage quick and/or get a lotta procs, you're not gonna have a good time.

Finally beat all the challenges. Was surprised that I managed to finish the purist in 1 go, but fucking beans gave me so much literal and figurative shit, was almost as bad as beating everything with the lost.

I got really lucky on beans. Now I just need to do family man, suicide king, cat got your tongue, and purist. I still have 11 locked though :V

So I guess Mystery Sack is the new Rusted Key, since it does fucking nothing, much like how Rusted Key did nothing in vanilla.

At least Cain's unlocks are as useless as he is. Is there any new info about the upcoming expansion?

Anyway libra and ipecac on the first floor, labyrinth are in seeds right? JXMG Q4V2 the libra and ipacac give you rapid fire ipacac shots as if it were soy milk. be careful, I died on a boss rush because I hit myself. edit: also got tripleshot which didn't slow it down and plenty of other perks. In case you were wondering what the exploit I used was: After completing a room, press escape and choose "Exit Game", then "Continue" from the main menu. I did this for almost every room, and if I ever died in a room, I paused before the last will came up, then Alt+F4'd out of the game. Started the game back up, chose continue, and I would continue from the latest room that I exited the run from. Though you'll probably have to rely on treasure rooms, secret rooms, and shops for your damage and good stats since this exploit seems to fuck up the Devil Deals and make him use a really small pool of items that aren't really in the Devil Pool, like the Sad Onion, plus restarting a run after continuing will delete any flies or spiders you have. The exploit still lets you unlock items though.

Uh you don't have to exit the run every room, just pressing esc while in the death animation and then closing the game is enough

I've had more fun with a Cursed Eye + Bob's Brain + Eve run than I have in the past 10+ hours of trying to get fucking Meat Boy. Literally the only thing left before I get Platinum and Real Platinum, I'm at the point where I give zero shits now and just want to do random runs and see how long my streak can go.

Had a nice run going with Ipecac (first room) + Pyromaniac (Depths 1 I believe) + Dead Dove + Trinity Shield + Bloated Baby. I managed to get to [sp]Mega Satan. Do I still need to spoiler this?[/sp] and died right before finishing his last form... But then I remembered I had Guppy's Collar and it brought me back, and I tried once more. I then realized while fighting him a second time, the Trinity Shield will block literally everything except touch damage. Even the fire from the second form of [i]you know who[/i] is blocked. If anybody is curious, the seed is RKDT Q1PH.

Basically you need Lil Brim (which is now more of a toll thanks to the 2 hearts) a full fledged Bandage / Super Meat Boy or Guppy to win nothing is more of a pissoff than having a lvl 2 SMB and then finding the goddamn motherfucking terrible horseshitter boss The Bloat in depths 1

Are you supposed to beat Mom within 90 minutes of first playing the game? I had this god like remote controlled tear with 3 buddies. I literally always picked up the evil items and such. Not to mention the 25 flies I had for MoM. Just wondering cause I've seen people waste so many hours on this game but is there more then just beating mom?

So I just played the remake for the first time, and I can't help but feel they made easier. All these tears basically just murderfied her instantly.

I think there is a higher proportion of good items to bad items in Rebirth. Thus a higher chance of having a good run. I played the original for 43 hours and I don't think I ever made it to the Chest/Dark Room. In fact I think I only managed to beat Mom's heart a couple of times. Whereas in Rebirth I think I beat Mom's heart on my third or fourth run. By 43 hours I think I had Golden God.
