Damn, some combos are really legit but fail cause you miss that one charge per room shot at instakilling ANYTHING..

It's undoubtedly a bug though. The devs just seem prone to breaking something when they try fixing another.

Sure it's only about 0.8 seconds to charge your blast, but that's 0.8 seconds extra time that you're caught off-guard, plus it throws a wrench in your attack plans since you can't truly burst into the room guns-a-blazing like an 80's action icon.

I finally got a Book of Revelations on the first floor after trying for days. Got all the way to Womb 1 with meat boy and it was fucking Conquest. This game is really good at crushing your hopes and dreams.

Holy shit... I had a great combo going that basically kept me at full health.... Then I found a spade in the last level of the vetro...That took me to Sheol(?), then I either used spade or telepills, cant remember. It then toke me to a room with hearts and a doll that said 'Error'. Then it send me to a dark room where I had to literally beat 20-30 bosses.... I died on the last room before I could get to the boss. But jesus, I almost made it but I had full health+9 lives [t]http://i.imgur.com/5MIRsgb.jpg[/t] unlocked Samson, Magdalene and cain on that run, 3 archievements too.

I got kamikaze and pyromaniac once Dumbest, easiest run ever. I just walked around in circles blowing myself up :v:

Those runs where you hardly get any damage ups really suck. You just end up hoping your dodging skills get better soon and then watch your health slowly go down.

Why do most screenshots appear to have a book of revelations? Did it get buffed or is there some sort of synergy with new items? I'm getting into rebirth just now, played a bit of the original (like maybe 7-8 wins, but I got a d6). Also, why doesn't the rebirth wiki list synergies? I always thought that was super useful for the original game, is there any place where there are such synergies?

Are SMB/super bandage girls really that good/useful? I've never fully built one before so I don't know SMB's power in the original. Or is it just for achievements/unlocks?

Is the damage from lvl 3/4 worth giving up 3/4 pickups?

They aren't kidding either. Somehow I managed to get Bandage Girl pretty fast but Meat boy is fucking impossible. Wish that if you found either one from the first Horseman the rest of the run would be that type. So like if I found cube of meat from the first the rest of the horsemen would give the cube of meat.

Why is it always Conquest when you get down to the womb

I've already completed my meat boy, got it randomly during a run [sp]without book of revelations[/sp], I just need to complete the game with like, 2 more characters and then do The Lost, and build a bandage girl and I'll have all the items unlocked. Still haven't touched hard mode and frankly I'm glad I haven't considering the item drop modifier recently got fixed. [editline]26th December 2014[/editline] Also on the subject of the 4-leveled familiars, Bandage Girl is [b]objectively[/b] better than meat boy. Same DPS, iirc she heals you too, and still shoots tears past level 2. Tears charm too.
