Deals damage to other enemies in the process. Good for removing groups, bad in 1v1 where it'd just be useless. Let the bodies hit the floor.

Yeah, for some reason I could imagine Isaac being a bit of a metalhead if he actually grew up, no idea how I've come to such conclusions. Sadly due to the story that ain't gonna happen, though. He'll just stay 5 years old in his own personal hell until the last star flickers out.

Hah, after about 100 hours of game time without ever becoming guppy, I get him twice in a row and breeze through. Both runs had pyromaniac and bob's brain too.

good lord, i was on mom's heart as samson and i died, but i came back cause i had guppy's collar which i had totally forgotten about. So now i'm on half a heart, bloody lust is on full power, and i don't know what to do. So i went back to the rooms i didn't complete because i didn't think i'd die and i get about 3-4 hearts. With nothing else to do i go into the heart once more and just barely make it with half a heart left. Woulda died without the hourglass, closest run i've had yet

The d20 requires very few synergies to break the game. Anything that lets you regain charge will allow you to infinitely reroll a room. One example is if you get The Habit and go in a dice room. You can use the blood donation machine to regain charges, and then you reroll all the coins that drop from it. Even if the machine explodes, you'll be getting so many bombs and hearts from rerolling that you can just manually recharge the D20. Same thing for the Sharp Plug (but keep in mind that the 9 volt will render it useless) You can also abuse items that make you drop things upon being hit. Say you find a Life Savings/Gimpy/Fanny Pack. Now you can continually hurt yourself with a fire/spiked room, and regain all your hearts by rerolling. This becomes even easier if you manage to find an IV bag. Invincibility? Free 20 coins to reroll. Even by itself, the D20 is incredibly powerful. With no other synergies, you can still reroll a room at least 2 times every level. That's potentially 10+ extra chests every floor. The strength of the D20 is in the number of things being rerolled. This includes pills and cards, so drop all your unneeded cards in the same room to turn them into something more useful.

I went to the wrong route after picking polaroid/negative twice in a row, both with game-winning loadouts. I should stop being stupid once in a while

Sheol made sure to take out all of my hearts and leave me with one against Satan. Needless to say those black exploding dicks took me out as soon as the fight started.

Haven't been able to see what's new since I had to do that goddamn pumpkin-balancing quest in Skyward Sword since Mum couldn't do it. Even with my hand-eye coordination and sense of caution, it was not fun or engaging even when I did it in one go. That aside, here's hoping the update has something interesting
