They all seem pretty great, although Bowl of Tears seems like Monstro's Lung only it takes up your Spacebar slot.

Because that's exactly what it is. It's supposed to be an actually useful version of Isaac's Tears. Plus it remains useful even if you have something such as Brimstone because you can still benefit from tear modifiers such as the Parasite, Cricket's Body or Ipecac since it always fires tears.
Oh right, I get it now. Makes more sense when you put it that way, I guess.

Poop familiars will be pretty awesome, they're something I've wanted since I first saw those enemies. And summoning them from poop is cool. But poop is rarer in later floors, maybe the item can come with a built in mysterious candy? so we can randomly create our own poops.
Blood Oath seems like just a slightly different Whore of Babylon though.
I'd like to see an item that's the opposite of Whore of Babylon, it only gives a damage boost when all red heart containers are full.

Yeah I agree, or maybe having this item can passively cause rooms to randomly replace some special rocks with poop, which can be both a blessing and a curse since you might need tarot cards or black hearts from these skulls in the Depths/Necropolis.
All the other items in that picture are from the Community Remix mod, I'm slightly redesigning them, although Blood Oath hasn't changed functionality wise. It's a devil room item and in most cases, it's a straight damage upgrade so there's no reason not to take it. The only downside is that it actually reduces your damage if you have too much HP. Not sure how to rebalance it or if it even needs to be rebalanced, we already have a lot of redundant items anyway.
I'll try to think of items that actually encourage having a lot of heart containers, it's true that we don't have many of them so far.

Yeah same. Like I said before, I force rerolled the room and got everything except sacred heart lol. Having the D6 limits the chance of getting it but fuck letting it come down entirely to chance.

Perhaps a Tears modifier that causes you to fire a large piercing tear a'la Polyphemus every second independent of your Tears stat, but you can only fire those "Sword Tears" if you are at full health.
I think we all know where this one came from. However it would also probably be always-on if you're playing Blue Baby or anyone with no Heart Containers, which considering the difficulty of recovery for those characters would probably be a good thing.

I am all for this kind've item. Not cause it'll be good, but references to the original zelda just feel at home in this game.

Oh yeah I like that idea.
Maybe Blue Baby would only get the bonus if he's at 3 hearts or more. The Lost can just have it always active. Everyone else will need at least 1 heart container with a full heart in it. Eve will benefit a bit more because of this, since she can be in Whore of Babylon mode while still having 1 full heart container.

Why is Isaac so much harder than Satan? Might be just me but looking at sheer HP alone Satan is easier by like 800.

this week id like to focus your creative attention on new challenges.
my goal with the rebirth DLC is to have at least 10 new challenges, but i really want them to feel fresh and creative.
my favorite challenges in rebirth were probably Cursed, Solar System and Demo Man because they really changed how you played the game and forced you to make choices you wouldn’t normally make. id really love it if almost all of the new dlc challenges embodied this theme.

upvote ones you like down vote ones you hate. i do my best to read all of your posts but try and keep them concise and limit your posts to one idea each.
Do: post ideas that totally change how isaac is played, force the player into an item set or “curse” situation that makes the game play differently and challenges traditional isaac gameplay.
Dont: post ideas that are just item combos that are “cool” or “OP”, we aren’t looking for any runs that make the game easier. dont post challenges that are kinda like old ones but different and dont post more than one idea in your post!
there are a lot of variables in the game we can change, so be creative. we can turn things on and off easily, but dont design something that means rewriting how the game actually plays on a technical level.

I'd like a Challenge/Seed that turns the game into one interconnected super dungeon, so instead of beating a boss room and going down a trap door, it just opens another door to the next 'floor'.
Not sure how viable such an idea is in practise though. It'd probably require some tricky programming.
Curses show up way to fucking often, it's kind of ridiculous.
We need blessings to combat curses.
