been playing the ps4 version a little while stuff rendered on my pc managed to unlock the blank card before I've even got sheol unlocked :v:
now beat challenge two so you pair the rewarded item with the blank card. try to find a room with a battery.
Died on Family Man just as the fucking trophy dropped
now beat challenge two so you pair the rewarded item with the blank card. try to find a room with a battery.
Last run, I got the blank card on floor one and over the course of the game I found about 20 48 hour energy pills. But not a single jera. At least I found a heirophant in the chest and used it to go from 1 heart to max.
So why is Super Greed so much easier than regular Greed? You can just stand in front of him and he can't hurt you.
So why is Super Greed so much easier than regular Greed? You can just stand in front of him and he can't hurt you.
I bet it's down to the firing pattern. Regular Greed shoots 3 with the central one going straight, but Super Greed's pattern is 4 shots with a "blindspot" in the middle, meaning it's riskier to try and strafe him since there are more "hit-zones".
So why is Super Greed so much easier than regular Greed? You can just stand in front of him and he can't hurt you.
But he also spawns Keepers which are fucking annoying. Speaking of annoying, how about Suicide King?
Speaking of annoying, how about Suicide King?
The shadow is the hitbox of your projectile. Be careful. Aim your shots. Spamming fire is more trouble than it's worth. Keep playing long enough and eventually you will get a die/devil room that will carry your sorry ass to the end.
Normal run : First floor had 2 big rooms swarmed with spiders and flies, then i get to fight envy, and the boss is Duke of flies. All that without any damage upgrade or anything. It's like the game is begging me to click the uninstall button.
FINALLY. Lost is done and dealt with! I got stop watch triple shot mom's knife and plenty of damage ups in one run. Was pretty good. Now to finish crap with the people I haven't yet, Find crap I haven't and Do the god awful challenges I have left.
Recently got a PS Vita, and I just picked up Rebirth for it. Seems to run pretty well, with small framedrops when there's a lot happening on screen, but apart from that it seems to be a great port. Sadly, no syncing with Steam, so I'll have to unlock everything again.

My only big complaint is the lack of a quick restart button like the PC version has, at least as far as I'm aware.
Do you think Edmund will accept this if I submit it as a Lost rebalance suggestion? :v:

I found dad's key in the chest but I didn't complete the polaroid yet, do I do it? Eh did polaroid, got d20, not bad.
Oh man started a run as Eden with Missing No. That was fun as fuck. I'm a huge fan of the total re-roll items, I almost always D4 myself on the final floor if I get a chance, just for the fun of it. I do wish the item pool looped round on itself instead of just giving you Breakfast constantly when you exhaust it, though. I mean if you get D4 and Missing No you're gonna exhaust the item pool pretty quickly and have a super boring second half of the run. So I decided to jump back into the first game because I haven't got Rebirth. What exactly are the main changes to Rebirth from the original? I know new bosses/new items, but that's about it
So I decided to jump back into the first game because I haven't got Rebirth. What exactly are the main changes to Rebirth from the original? I know new bosses/new items, but that's about it
Rebirth plays much MUCH more smoothly. For me, it's almost impossible to play the original again because it has much lower framerate. Also, some items in the original cannot stack with other items (for example, Brimstone + Triple shot) but they do in Rebirth (for the most part, some things still don't stack).
New art style too. I'm not such a fan of it, but there's a filter option which mitigates it a little.
One change I don't see many people talk about is there are far less "special" items in Rebirth than there were in the original. In the original (plus Wrath of the Lamb), 57 out of 198 items were special. In Rebirth 14 out of 343 items are special. This means in Rebirth it's way more likely you get fun items and interesting combinations every run.

Then there were also items that had non-whole numbers as their special increment, such as Wiggle Worm. The only good thing the original had regarding special items is that you'd only increment the counter when you pick these items up. In Rebirth, it seems that so long as the game generates the item, you're going to have that under-the-hood value count upward even if you ignore the item (or simply don't know what it is due to curse of blindness). It makes the curse that much more infuriating and also makes those basement rooms with random pedestal items out of reach unfairly punishing, as you'll be given a lower chance to get special items later all because you walked into a room that happened to have Mom's Knife or something sitting in the center of the room behind unbreakable blocks.
so, uh azazel OP or what
so, uh azazel OP or what
His runs are entirely based on how many Heart containers you get during the level. Due to the erratic speed and short range if you don't get enough then you'll find your health just disappear even if it was a decent run. I find him as my personal fav though.
holy fuck i'm The Lost with the holy mantle and infamy mask and stage 3 of satan is still extremely difficult to clear.
so, uh azazel OP or what
He has a strong push at the beginning of the run but I don't think you can make it without any other help. Regardless, Azazel's EZasHell.

I honestly hope something like spider mod gets made for rebirth. Would be neat to do custom item races. Me and 2 friends each got to pick 2-3 items and I believe a trinket to start the run with then race with it in Original Isaac.. Was pretty neat.
so, uh azazel OP or what
Early game, absolutely. Late game, only sometimes because tons of items don't synergize with him and you have to find heart containers. It really depends on the run.
Pretty much of you start with Ludovico in a treasure room is easy as fuck from then on out
Oh man! Ipecac! It's chemical peel. Oh man! Ipecac! It's rubber cement.
