Oh man! Ipecac! It's chemical peel. Oh man! Ipecac! It's rubber cement.
Oh man, rubber cement! It's Ipecac, and you had either mom's eye / loki's horns / number one / my reflection already
I've had shitty runs for quite a while now. I keep only getting HP items and range + speed, and only the rare DMG increase. Is this just me being insanely unlucky, or is there a reason for this?
if you're playing isaac with the d6 this happens more frequently due to its status as a special item
Special item counter isnt the same in Rebirth, now its enough to see special item on pedestal for it to count, but if you start with special item,it wont count.
are you sure? because my most boring runs were almost always with d6 isaac
Weird cause a lot of my fun runs was with the D6.
I don't play Isaac with any items at all.
are you sure? because my most boring runs were almost always with d6 isaac
Yep,its true You can see it yourself
KP6M WZAJ : Epic Fetus on Basement I, and Polyphemus on Basement II. However, seeing Epic Fetus prevents Polyphemus from appearing (Number One appears instead).
There is Dr.Fetus instead of Epic, but youll still have same results
i fucking hate this game sometimes, i had a beautiful run up until caves 1 with decent items and then i get fucking 4 activatable items in a row in treasure rooms and no boss rush for me end result: super underpowered for the womb and i eat shit and die because not a single heart drops in the womb thanks video game
Yeah I know that feeling. Activateable items are good, but when you get too many in a row it's bad because you can't make use of all of them. If we had something like _Kilburn's Backpack, even if it isn't a standard feature, then you wouldn't be so easily screwed over by getting swamped with Activaeables when you really need stackable passives. I know I've said it many times, but it is a small problem with the genre in general, in that being starved of passives in favour of actives that you can't carry is not fun and a stumbling block to your character progression, not to mention it limits your options if you can only shoot and use an item. There are other games in the genre that have work arounds for some of the problems, such as Risk of Rain giving you four different abilities to work with in addition to the standard Activateable, and Ziggurat which allows you to carry four different magical weapons and an Amulet, and they've got combat that can be varied up quite a bit. All I'm saying is that multiple Activateables is a good feature to have in the genre as a standard, since one of the problems present in "recent" roguelites is that your options are generally limited.
