If this game comes out on 3DS and Wii U I will be buying four versions of the game overall worth about £41.69 (soundtrack included). Completely worth it. :v:
Danny's music has a much more sad tone in general, which fits the setting and the mood of the story more. (Especially the title music is much better in this regard than the one in Rebirth) I find the music for the womb, the cathedral and sheol quite boring to listen to though. Matthias' music is a lot more heavy on the other hand, which I guess will help the gameplay, especially when you stomp everything with Brimstone or Mom's knife.
I'll go ahead and predict burlap sac masks.
Mom's knife for spy. It seems so obvious to me. [editline]8th October 2014[/editline] Would also make the backstab kill icon correct for the first time ever.
For those of you who like Community Remix but dislike the custom music, there is now a mod to change it back: http://code-cast.us/Remix/2014/10/08/community-remix-mod-no-custom-music-version/
idk maybe this was obvious to some but every item we've seen thus far is unlocked from the start, no secret locked items have been shown yet.
That means D6 is available from the start. Unless he interpreted the question as "what items new to Rebirth are unlockable?" In which case that's pretty tame.
That means D6 is available from the start.
Something tells me the D6 will be an Eden unlock, both are random and D6 is kinda a very end game item.

Is there a way to see what items and secrets i missed? trying to get platinum god and i have 10 items left and 5 secrets. But i have no idea wich items or secrets it is :c Edit : Does trinkets count as items to collect for platinum god?
Have you checked the Wiki?
yea i have. But i can't remember what i have and don't have. So i was thinking that maybe there is a simpler way to see what items and secrets im missing?
yea i have. But i can't remember what i have and don't have. For items just check your collection and look at where there are empty entries.
Go to "stats" and then browse through your secrets. Is there a way to find that out? because i have 173 hours in the game and i can't figure out what the items could be, because for me it feels like i have gotten every item about 50 times each... Edit : okey i found this http://bindingofisaac.wikia.com/wiki/Collection_Page so i could see all the collected items, but it says i am missing "money equals power" lokis horn" and "pinking shears" i have collected them a bunch of times?
Edmund did a shit ton of updates on his Q&A site. Some highlights: -Tears don't turn bloody after the damage gets high enough -He mentioned all the old items you'd win in the WOTL challenges are unlocked from the start now, so maybe all old items really are available from the get go?? -Only 1 of the WOTL challenges will be returning. The other 19 are all new, with the possibility for more new ones being added via DLC.
I wish spacebar items had their own room or something. There is no worse feeling than entering a treasure room and seeing stuff like kamikaze or shoop da whoop (can't reroll either, I removed my save)

There is no worse feeling than entering a treasure room and seeing stuff like kamikaze or shoop da whoop (can't reroll either, I removed my save)
I know how that feels, SO MUCH. It's not just a problem with Isaac either, it's kind of a problem with the "roguelite" genre and the way many games in it handle loot drops. I played a lot of Isaac and a fair lot of Risk of Rain, and I much prefer it when the RNG doesn't keep on giving me the Use Items when I already have one and you can only ever hold one. It wouldn't even be a problem if I could carry and use more than one use item, but for the sake of I guess difficulty, and in some cases button limitations (not a factor on PC, mind you), you can only ever carry one use item around with you. In order to lower the chance of the game screwing over your progression during a run by throwing Use items at you all the time, I say either give spacebar items their own room/chest a'la what damnatus suggested, so it doesn't muddy the pool of passive-based progression, OR we could go with my idea and give the character multiple Use slots, so that you can have more things in your arsenal. Either way, it would turn the "fuck me another damn Use item that I don't need" into "oh cool another Use item, this'll go well with my other Use items" and in the case of multiple Use slots "huh, that looks cool, but which of these 3 Use items can I afford to chuck in favour of this new toy?". Hell combine the two systems and you'd have a recipe for better loot and better character progression. No chance of it getting into Isaac or Risk of Rain, but let's hope some indie dev thinks it would work great in his own roguelite. I honestly wouldn't begrudge them for it either, since cool ideas make the world go around, breathes new life into the industry.

Imagine Tammy's head bullets exploding into Lemon Mishaps, or turning all pickups into soul hearts with D20 + Guppy's Paw
The community remix also added a feature which I really like: random tear effects (freeze, poison etc) are luck-based, which can be maxed so they proc every time
Combining usable items together would be hella sweet. Imagine Tammy's head bullets exploding into Lemon Mishaps, or turning all pickups into soul hearts with D20 + Guppy's Paw
While that sounds pretty neat, that's not quite what I was talking about. When I said "having multiple use items", I thought that it'd come across that they would be bound to separate keys, especially when I said "and in some cases button limitations". So in essence my idea was that you'd have the different Use items activated with their own key, like Lemon Mishap on C, Guppy's Paw on V, Book of Belial on B, that kinda thing where you activated them individually when you needed them.
That is venturing into inventory territory, which doesn't really fit BoI imo. Having a separate room for spacebar items is enough
The community remix also added a feature which I really like: random tear effects (freeze, poison etc) are luck-based, which can be maxed so they proc every time
I'm pretty sure that's just yet another rebirth feature that they copied. Luck has been seriously reworked and Edmund has said it'll affect items you have this time around, which is awesome. http://edmundm.com/post/82969299115/the-current-luck-stat-is-kinda-funky-in-the-way-that-it At least I'm assuming that affecting items translates to tear chances. Maybe not but I hope so.
My wish has come true
That is venturing into inventory territory, which doesn't really fit BoI imo. Having a separate room for spacebar items is enough
Well we already have Pills and Trinkets which are kind of inventory items already. Besides like I said it isn't a system that would go into BoI, it'd merely work for the genre.
I get excited the moment I think of how fun this is going to be. Tomorrow Edmund is revealing the tf2 promos, correct?
I get excited the moment I think of how fun this is going to be. Tomorrow Edmund is revealing the tf2 promos, correct?
Yes unless ANOTHER delay happens, which HOPEFULLY won't.

Fucking forgot the Bible kills you while fighting Isaac. I was so going to get an achievment. Fuck.
