It was pleasurable lurking in this thread for so long. Unfortunately since college is long and shitty, I gotta block everything out for a few days. Hope y'all have fun with the game!

Is the co-op online too or only local?
Is the co-op online too or only local?

For those not watching: Someone asked if they'd do online coop later. They said it's very unlikely due to the amount of work it'd need. They also tried to go on about how local coop is just way better anyways but yeah sure lol. They joked around about spider doing online coop on his own but I'm pretty sure they were just fucking about.
A coop stream with edmund is going to start soon! http://www.twitch.tv/mrsmcmillen
Was I supposed to play Isaac completely vanilla for a while before getting Wrath of the Lamb? Because watching some videos of the vanilla game, it seems like there are rooms or floors that I never get because I got the game and the DLC at the same time.
What a nice set of things to come back from a double-shift at work to. Game's pre-loaded, pants are off, and some beer in-hand to help me wind down tonight as another stream's about to begin. Sadly I won't find a use for 2+ co-op babies since I'd be lucky to have 1 friend come over for co-op in the first place. I need to make more friends. Although I can cheese the system by having co-op babies hold onto rare hearts for me that I don't want to lose (eternal and black hearts) while they're over a rock or in a corner and I duke things out on my own.
I still haven't seen the WoTL alt rooms. Is their content (music, enemies) streamlined into the regular rooms?
They appear more often after "Everything is Terrible" is unlocked I believe. Same with original Isaac, if you bought the DLC before earning that.

they encountered a bug the night before the game ships, amazing
oh hey, florian is still with ultra pride.
new item spoilers:[sp]lost contacts gives you "shielded tears" that break enemy projectiles when they come in contact with em [/sp]
I wish there was a midnight release. But still, tomorrow is going to rock. I'm going to love playing this on the PC and on my Vita.

So I loved the first game and finished it a good few times, but I found it tough to stay interested in it without knowing what all the items actually did. I get that might be one of the big attractions to the game though for some people. I really want to get rebirth but I'm scared i'll lose interest especially with no wiki to search what this and that does. Should I hold off or is rebirth going to be a bit more descriptive about items?

That's pretty cool, but does it always proc? Or is it like tough love? Cause if it always procs then that seems a bit OP[/sp] :v:

You won't know exact numbers but you'll have a general idea of what everything does in less than a sentence.

I'm pretty sure I saw Isaac's tears pierce straight through all the enemy projectiles without breaking. I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow!

I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow!
I'm positive I saw it break on bones being thrown by skeletons. Maybe it varies for types of projectiles but at least for bones they both shattered on impact. http://www.twitch.tv/mrsmcmillen/b/585130693 1:04:30 on Yeah it's really hard to tell if it pierced that tear shot. At the very least it does shatter against bone shots.
[sp]I really want to know what Jump does now[/sp]

rebirth comes out later today guys p excited tbh
Little less than 12 hours to go~~~
Oh man forgot I prepurchased this game now I get to hype myself without having to wait excrutiating weeks for the the release. This thread will become a massive spoiler zone even with the black bars though.
Yeah also use context when posting spoilers. I can't tell if you're talking about some secret item you found or an ending if all you do is post a black bar...
