You won't convince me, new Catacombs and Womb tracks are goddamn afwul. There really should be mod that switches the music back to Danny B. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the game, easly worth the wait.

I just killed...something in the womb and unlocked cellar.

But I played 2 times with him, I guess I can try more for more OP combos

The planet item is ridicilous with a high fire rate

If you get brimstone + tammy's head you auto win because you walk into a room, hit spacebar, then walk into another room. One-shot heart and satan

Just bought Rebirth, I own the original but never played it much. Any tips before I go in? Things I should keep in mind?

Oh man Anti-Gravity Tears are awesome. You can place a bunch, they float in place and enemies can run into them like mines, and then as soon as you stop shooting they all go in the direction they were shot at the same time. Tear storm engage.

I didn't get a chance to play him yet though.

Also it kinda seemed like damage over time has a better chance to apply on-hit effects but it could have just been luck. I had black fire tears (metal as fuck) from getting the fire tears thing (Hot Head?) and Dark Matter, then almost every enemy I hit was getting feared because it seemed like every tick of fire damage had a chance to apply the fear instead of just the initial hit.

The music sounds better in game than outside of it. My favorite has to be Mom's Heart fight.

I like the new items, and I like the new enemies a lot. However what I absolutely despise is how the sound design for everything is terrible, and the music isn't just bad compared to Danny B, it's not catchy, it's not engaging, and it's just plainly not a fun experience. All my other complains are nitpicks, I don't like how overly zoomed in the game feels bit I can live with it. I don't particularly like the pixelated graphics but I do like the character designs. I don't like how you can't play with the mouse anymore, but I can live with that. All in all Rebirth is a decent game with terrible music and sound effects, while the original game was a great game with great music although a shit engine.
