I'm hoping a lot more tear effects explicitly interact with one another in Rebirth.
I want to feel the power of pairing Fetus in a Jar with Remote Detonator and Parasite. I want to fire an 8-way laser when using Tammy's Head when I have Technology. I want to shoot a 4-way Brimstone when I have Loki's Horns.
Having a wavy laser beam or a laser circle is nice and all (Wiggle Worm and Tiny Planet respectively), but I want there to be more silly combinations that'll last a lot longer as far as player interest goes.

Anyone got a save file thats close 100% but isn't? Like, post golden god but not quite platinum god? I wanna pick this up again, but I've deleted my save and don't want to start from scratch. However, Id like to still have some stuff to unlock, and I can only find 100% saves on the net.
Had another Samson idea when I got my haircut today.
What if instead of buffing Bloody Lust, Samson were given a new starting item that has great synergy with Bloody Lust. That way it doesn't affect other characters nearly as greatly if they happen to find Bloody Lust.
Because I'm bad at naming I'll just throw whatever idea comes to mind: Samson's Retainer
Damage bonuses are kept until Isaac takes damage from an enemy, obstacle, or himself. Bonuses are lost upon starting a new floor.
What this does to Samson is make it so Bloody Lust keeps snowballing through rooms unless he gets hurt. What it does for everyone is that it makes it very beneficial to stack bonuses such as from the Book of Belial, Empress tarot cards, and the Nail.
Imagine the potency Judas would have if he were to pick up this item.

So I had a swarm of flies that destroyed anything in a room. Finally able to beat the womb with this set up.
Just wrapped up a run where I had picked up Rainbow Baby, Dead Sea Scrolls, and 3-Dollar Bill.
If these items aren't made into awards for Mystery Man, then I don't know what will. They just seem perfect for that kind of character.
Does anyone else have problems with achievements not unlocking even though you've met the requirements for them?
Make sure you actually use the exit function of the game rather than just Xing it out.
And goddammit I can't seem to complete a single run with Isaac post-D6, what the hell game.
Have there been any screenshots of the Rebirth version? I'm not so sure about the whole "graphical demake" thing they're planning on doing. I actually kinda like the art style.

Oh. That's actually not such a large departure. I thought they were going to try to make it SUPER EIGHT BIT LOOK AT THIS LACK OF RESOLUTION but it actually just looks pretty crisp.

He's had that kind of style for almost everything that he's done. He's getting a bit sick of it.
Plus he argues that it'll make the remake stand out more from the original.
Kinda like the contrast behind Spelunky and Spelunky HD, the remake contains a lot more content that the original simply couldn't handle since Game Maker has its limitations.

I'm hoping he has the forethought to make it so that spectral tears have a hard time fighting this guy.
But as a reward for defeating him with spectral tears, you get some super-awesome item.

MoI never got nerfed in v1.5. He's just as annoying in 1.5 as he is in 1.48.
Besides, it's not like the player will have too hard of a time with Dingle. If Edmund's smart, he'll have a manageable attack pattern, nowhere near as stupid as Bloat or Mask of Infamy.
Either way, he could just make it so that Dingle gets a more difficult attack pattern if the game detects that you have spectral tears, with not effect to how long it takes to kill him, he's just harder to fight.
I hope they fix the two of the same book appearing in a Library.
I hope there are a ton more books, because right now most of them are pretty fucking bad or situational other than Belial and Revelations, Shadows is fine depending on your build. I just use the Libraries so I can break the hell out of them so I can get 2 items from the treasure room pool.

well if it does, it must have taken the 0% status after the save was lost and made that the stats saved on the cloud, because my progress is gone, even on other computers

Rebirth better have smarter familiar AI, the Dead Bird is so dense that it's not worth paying attention to.
So i got the gamekid, and after using it i was holding down the button to fire so i could finish off the boss. and then this happened. i was able to replicate it, it might have something to do with technology.

I've decided to just cut my losses and wait for Rebirth, since there won't be any carryover from BoI.
