May have found a game-breaking bug: Those walking skull heads don't open up when I have the big controllable tear thing.

Is it just me or is fighting mom more fun than in the flash version? I don't know, I just feel less panicky fighting her. The new voice is nice too.

Secret rooms of both variety are so much easier to find this go round if you're attentive. [sp]Non-special rooms can spawn as nodes (1 door), lines (2 doors opposite each other), elbows (2 doors adjacent to each other), and T's (3 doors). Knowing this, you can drastically narrow down which secret room locations are not possible, as well as find top secret rooms that would otherwise be tough to suss out.[/sp]

beat the heart and got [sp] ipecac [/sp] fighting with a load of hearts but almost base damage, most intense shit ever, finished on half a heart.

I don't actually like the "Win Streak" counter. So rocking all those spiders plus Dark Bum which means I've been knocking out all my regular hearts for Soul Hearts and trading them at Demon rooms My tears are at max from all the gifts I've been getting, but I've one red heart. I feel lie the Hotline Miami guy, I can kill anything but I die instantly if I let my guard down.

The [sp]Cathedral[/sp] is way too fucking bullshit in this game. I got through 12 rooms and 11 of them had like 10+ leeches and bomb leeches in them. Come to think of it there are just so many rooms that have unfair, impossible to avoid damage, which is HUGE considering that you cant have offscreen hearts anymore.

How many hearts total do you guys feel you need to complete a run? I get antsy if I don't have at least 3 during the caves

Had a sketchy run at first with Az, then I got Lil Brimstone, and he helped me out of a few tights spots. Was still hit and miss up to the womb, but eventually got the Dark Bum. Well, from then on it was smooth sailing, that shit is the best item in the damn game. Ended up picking up Gimpy too, managed to make it to my first Devil kill. Took a lot of damage on him though, he seems harder than before.

Kind of sucks how Edmund brought back the memes. Then again, Isaac is like 10, so he might find them funny.

Currently have Mega Mushroom, Odd Mushroom, and whatever the Blue Mushroom was I must be a plumber.

Is anyone else having the problem that when playing the game, suddenly you keyboard will cease to function. I am playing with the Xbox 360 controller if that has any impact.

I just encountered something fucking incredible. [sp]I beat mom, then a wall opens up. I go inside, it's a 4x4 room, and there's 4 item pedestals. I take one, the other 3 disappear and I HAD TO FIGHT EVERY SINGLE BOSS(Minus "final bosses"). They all came 2 at a time though. It was like some boss rush mode. I found a pretty funny exploit. If you use the chariot right before completing a run you can get fast, high pitched main menu music

The blue boomerang is fucking wonderful, maybe just as amazing as the blue candle is. It's a throwable item that quickly recharges just like blue candle, except it's a boomerang that can catch pickups and bring them to you, and turns enemies to stone when it pegs them. I fucking destroyed that run since I was able to get any pickup, no matter what gap lay between us, and also freeze bosses and then unload on them with rapid fire tears. Also amazing is the telekinesis tears. When you release the fire button they all fly in whatever direction you were facing with whatever momentum you had when you dropped them. You can keep them frozen for like 5 seconds i think before they start flying on their own. [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/22843671485176377/FBE61222BF1247803AB069610769AB1E7BB60E27/[/t] I stacked it with polyphemus, which made them harder to destroy and thus do more damage, and also enemies like knights died on them when they tried to walk through them. I could just run about the room and anything following me would get wrecked by the tears. Won with them as well. This game is fucking great. Only complaints so far is some of the sound design choices are way off, like those smiling chasing basement enemies that make ridiculous snarls. Only glitches I've seen is something will sometimes trigger my health bar to vanish until I get to the next floor, and something else will trigger all items to appear as red question marks until the next floor, making it so I can't decide if i want to pick it up or not. Both are a fucking bitch but really rare so whatever.

The thing is, whenever my health disappears, there's not pop-up saying there's a curse. Pitch Black sucked horribly though, not knowing how much health you had at all was terrible, I swear I was going to die at any point during the mom fight. Though apparently I got regen at some point but I have no idea how fast it works. Also, Borg Doctor: [sp]TSYW-A91H[/sp] Have fun, this was one REALLY powerful build.
