It's debatable what's better than what when it comes to the music, but the original shop theme is unarguably superior.

Level 3 Bandage Girl is a wandering familiar. She will attack enemies by walking into them and periodically will fire a charming tear in the direction Isaac is firing. Dunno what level 4 does, I got a Cube of Meat when I wanted that last Ball of Bandages.

It's not [I]every[/I] boss. You'll notice that there are none of the Rebirth bosses, Krampus, Womb/Utero and beyond, and Conquest among the ones that are spawned. It's something challenging for returning players to strive for before they unlock enough of the endgame content to go for the final final bosses. Pseudo-speedruns make players thing on their feet. And it gets the added bonus of being a victory lap at the end of a challenge run that you feel confident in despite being cut off from continuing once you defeat Mom.
It's a nice thing, but man was it an obvious one. The talks of a time-based mechanic, the timer itself on the HUD, and the clock on the stage transitions made it pretty easy to suss out. It doesn't make it easier to clear, but players know their goal from the get-go.

When defeating a boss you are presented 2 item pedestals, you can only take 1 of the items though.

I never used him in the original (Literally used Cain only after I unlocked him) but apparently he got a huge buff in this one.
I've noticed Cain took a bit of a nerfing in Rebirth, he's no longer pill immune which is a small pisser, but I'll give Samson a go today.

Blood Lust was changed entirely. Instead of gaining damage per kill, you gain damage when you take damage. It also lasts for the entire floor instead of only for the current room.
This buff applies to self-damage too. So Samson is the new arcade abuser while Cain is off crying in the corner taking unidentified pills that lower his stats.
Just blitzed all the way to Depths in 20 minutes with Samson, so yeah, he's pretty fucking fun.
In regards to Cain ; do you guys take pills at all? It's too rsky I find. I usually end up destroying my runs

You should. Pills can vary from more hp and more tears. Or a pretty fly.
So what does the Lucky Foot actually do now, just give you more chances for item drops? Since it doesn't act as a better PHD now.

So I wandred into a room that had 4 items available.
I pick one up, and slowly a billion bosses start spawning and I kill them all one by one for an achievement.

Yeah, they all dropped hearts so it wasn't terrifying (yes it was) but it was a shock
anyone know how to get Judas yet?
To be honest I don't actually like the new Samson.
Like he's really fucking good, but his class archetype is now bleeding all over Eve's territory. He gets souped up damage for tanking some hits, it persists even if he heals up. Eve gets souped up damage for staying at 1 or less red hearts and loses that if healed. Layer on top of that the extra heart container and normal base damage and you have two characters that are similar but one is pretty clear cut as more potent.
The only times where Eve has the edge is in cases where hearts are so scarce that you'll rarely rack up hits or if you have complete faith in Dead Bird doing something productive.
The character is enjoyable now for sure, but I don't know if I'll find it enjoyable to have Eve++ once the game settles and players become more apt with the new mechanics at hand.
I really wish the game would tell you what requirements you met in order to get achievements you already have.

The moms heart fight sucks, they really shouldn't have made it so spammy. You're only going to win it if you have 3 pretty flies or can one-shot it. so unless you got TEH URN going you aint winning
