90% sure you unlock it regardless, I died after killing the heart for the first time, still got the achievement and char unlock
I just beat Satan for the first time in either issac, Samson + dark bum + jar + rubber cement is fucking broken as shit, I don't even know what else I had but I beat mom's heart in literally 3 seconds.
Satan took 5 second.
Samson is now my favorite character.

I don't get to begin with why people keep spoiler tagging mother, mother's hearth, satan or other stuff really, I bet most of use have spent more than tens of hours on original Binding of Isaac.

i feel the need to note here that azazel's short brimstone no only does not combine with technology, but technology fucking overwrites it completely.

So got to the [sp]dark room[/sp] as samson and found a giant gold door with a key on it. Any idea on how I open this? I've cleared out the entire dungeon including the boss and nothing.

I'd assume you need the [sp]skeleton key[/sp], but I actually don't know.

Azazel has some kind of weird proprietary brimstone effect, it doesn't even have its own item, so his synergies are fucking dick. Tammy is probably the only good one
Never delete your save file. Somehow it makes the game unable to save a new file
God damn it I thought I'd never have to deal with this shit again when the game was ported from flash.
But I guess it was karma. I got so overpowered with the new run that I ended up fighting Satan instead of Mom to get the first ending, and unlocked all achievements I had before I deleted the old save.
Man, why can't I fucking play this game without becoming completely OP all the damn time?
Pyromaniac is such a goddamn useful item. Not only does it essentially turn bombs into medkits, but it opens up so many other items that I would previously deem too risky to use.
Not gonna lie, shield tears is op as hell if you have mad dps. Nothing can hit you at all.

yeah but i didn't expect technology to replace it, ruined a perfectly viable run with extremely slow lasers that did jack shit damage, I assumed nothing would happen.
the suicide king challenge was super fun
I ended up getting trishot too, and it only made it harder
So, I was playing as Samson, got Tiny Planet in the basement and I thought "who would want this shit? I can't hit ANYTHING, this run will take ages, that if I don't get raped before", and then I started to get Range up, Tears Up, Damage Up, etc etc one after the other plus a lot of other sinergies, I fucking destroyed everything (it was my first run through the Womb as well, seriously fuck that shit it looks impossible compared to the original). And then when I beat the Heart, a Demon room opened so I thought "why not?" Satan = rekt, every room I entered I just had to stay in the middle shooting and everything died around me. I also had like 8 hearth containers and Guppy's paw which I never used.
Today I was able to topple [sp]Isaac[/sp]
The whole thing involved (you already guessed it) Azazel, several power-ups and the Ludovico technique
The power-up is a bit risky during normal rooms, since you have to pay attention both to your character and the direction you want to move the ring. It's an absolute beast against bosses, though, because they tend to be stationary
On other news, this game pushed me to discover what a "telatoma" is
Now I'm afraid I have one inside my body and I still don't know
