I find it kinda bullshit how Purist locks you out of clearing achievements simply because it's a challenge run. It's the end all challenge run where you start with nothing and the game gives you as much nothing as it can. If you manage to avoid getting hit when already scrounging for items, you deserve the X Boy achievement associated with it.

What the fuck. I was playing Azazel on hard and I got the Loda controllable tears thing + mulligan (create flies from damaging) + guppy full (create even MORE flies from damaging). I threw the ring of brimstone at Envy and it nearly crashed my game from how many flies spawned. I also had the leaf that turns you into a statue so I just threw the ring at [sp]Isaac[/sp] and my flies and the ring destroyed him in seconds with me taking 0 damage.

Im not a fan of the new music. Its just ambience and some beats with sound effects. No meaningful progression or melody. Nothing that makes me go Fuck yeah basement or gets me pumped.

For cellar, you need to beat gemini in different orders to get the full count (little guy first and beat guy first). idk why that is but I just unlocked cellar by killing the little guy first after not having it unlocked for ages so I guess it's true.

Not in the same way, but similar. In the sense that Portal 1 music was more ambient, mysterious and unique in some ways, to the point that a lot of people didn't even realize it had a soundtrack in the early levels. While Portal 2 was more "mainstream", so to say. I feel like I'm the only one that likes Rebirth's music over original Isaac's. The original didn't have many memorable soundtracks while the new one has many imo

i like both, they are both directed differently original's was a lot more video gamey apart from maybe sheol and the womb while rebirth's is super sinister in comparison i also think that rebirth's new soundtrack suits the new visuals better as well.

Are there still the achievements to beat the game with specific characters (Cain, Eve, ...)?

I do like the new music, but I do wish there was an option to swap between the old and the new, sort've like how Cave Story let you swap between the old, new, and rearranged soundtracks. Also for the voice of Mom, the old one honestly fit better in terms of "Demented Psychotic Mom".

Was playing the Solar system challenge. Accidentally stepped into that Die room because it was my first time seeing it. There go my 2 damaging flies. :suicide: And that run was going well too

The nerf to Dark Bum is barely noticeable to me, I just had a game as Maggy and I seemed to be getting just as many spirit hearts as before, either way it's still pretty damn good for a one heart deal. By the way how do you tell the difference between Ipecac and Chemical Peel? I'm pretty sure I miss out on Chemical Peel half the time because I'm scared it'll be Ipecac.

So I got [sp]the missing poster and beat the lamb thinking that was the ending I was supposed to get to get the secret, NOPE. so do I have to fight mega satan with the missing poster to get the secret ending?[/sp] because if so, fuck that. I spent like two hours trying to even get it again.

The dice rooms can really be helpful for certain challenges. The Waka Waka challenge was annoying to start because even if you mash the buttons the tears still magnetize all the enemies. So thank god for that dice room with one pip I found.
