I'm pleased that Mulligan stacks with Guppy now. I also had Guppy's Head with 9-Volt so there was an endless onslaught of my fly army. I hardly got to even use the 9-Volt because rooms would be over in like a second.

So what are the endgame floors? And what are the requirements to get to them?

i like how using the rune of jera inside a shop will give you a free copy of whatever consumables are for sale

I just remembered my first time through rebirth, my first item was that passive that gave you short-range mega tears (Poptosis?), and my second item was bob's brain, somehow I beat the first 3 floors

At the very least, bob's brain shouldn't be able to damage you. Either that or they could buff the hell out of it and make you immune to explosive damage

People have "unlocked" him by using cheat engine and the like and if you really want to know what's special about him [sp]He starts with no hearts whatsoever along with flight. Lesson learned, never attempt to become Guppy if you have Fetus in a Jar. Yeah Fetus in a Jar kinda sucks but at this point in the run I was stacking loads of damage and already had 2 Guppy items. I took a health hit to trade for Dead Cat, expecting the transformation to pay for itself in raw damage for long enough to recuperate my health. I was wrong. All Guppy does is grant flight, flies won't spawn when you have bombs for tears. So I threw 5 hearts away so I could get flight when I already could fly. I thought they explicitly made things have synergy, not leave things to wallow as solo items when the most-fun thing you can do in the game is centric around the crazy builds you can create.

Fuuuuck. I beat Isaac as Guppy-Magdalene on fifth life :v: that was hell of a challenge, such a shame I got dead cat instead of literally any other guppy item [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] Oh and I've been to the most bullshit room possible. A huge 2x2 room with FOUR of the "suckers" in the center, surrounded by spikes and four radial laser eyes, and to top that off, four mom hands were in as well. I literally couldn't do anything since four suckers prevent you from any movement whatsoever so I just got hit by a hand and never went to that room again

Here's some unadulterated bullshit: If you clear Mom in under 20 minutes [i]and[/i] qualify for a Devil/Angel room, do not enter the Devil/Angel room first unless you're going to be very fast. If you go back to the boss room and the timer has ticked over 20 minutes, the entrance to the boss rush will be gone. I'm pissed because I have this great run on hardmode and I wanted to get both key parts so I spent some time in the Angel room. Now this run will have to end before I get as much done as I had wanted.

So reddit has discovered a lead in unlocking The Lost. Apparently, killing yourself via sacrifice room while holding the [sp]Missing Poster[/sp] or the [sp]Mysterious Page[/sp] will show you a piece of a puzzle on your death screen instead of the normal death. So now we need to piece that together to see what it reveals.

What do the red tentacle things do anyway? I remember Edmund showing them off on tumblr pre-release.

I think I'm the only one who finds Bob's Brain not godawful. It's kinda handy!
