I was spamming money into the fortune teller machine (cause it was on the last floor).
It then either spawns an item or just some messages; one of them is "Your lucky numbers are..."
Did anyone try to put those in as a seed yet? I'm fairly certain it was 8 digits.
I think those 'triple-conjoined fetus full of holes' bosses are bugged. Sometimes they go into the ground and stay under for upwards of 20 seconds, leaving you with nothing to do until they come back.

they go under until you are under a certain distance away from them afaik
so if you are just running around the room, and they never get close to you, then they just don't even

They just sit there.
Destroyed a random rock, not even a marked one, and I found a trap door leading down. This area was what I found down there. It had an item but I already grabbed it.

Also Head of Krampus is broken as fuck. A full blast of it kills a lot of bosses and even does like 50-75% damage to Mom's Heart. Got my first Heart kill with ??? real easy with it.

It's an enemy that doesn't do anything.
It's used pretty cleverly sometimes like when you have to kill few of them to clear a room full of unkillable flying skulls.

It won't come out unless he can get to you.
E.g. flying over rocks, holes or moving too fast will make him stay underground forever.

Is it me or Rebirth is much much easier. I remember it being hard as hell to even get to Mom in the first game but in this one, I started playing about 45 minutes ago and I beat mom and then mom+heart back to back without a problem.
In the first one, I got to Mom only rarely when I had good item drops. Either the game is much easier or I got lucky on both my runs with the drops. First game, I ended up getting mega tears and a bunch of damaging shit including bob's brain which absolutely decimated mom.
On my second run, I got nothing but fire rate up so I was a machine gun but did no damage, however I had this item that I have no clue what it is which perdiocally fired the Necronomicon thus killing everyone in the map and greatly damaging the boss. It fired up every 3 seconds against Mom's heart so I just killed the shit out of it.
Every time I play Azeal I end up getting some sort of something to instakill everything.
Good thing the random character button exists.

personally i dont think that the game itself is easier, just that there are more items that are good. it feels like i get a lot more successful runs item wise compared to the first game.

I feel this way too, along with items being easier there are characters good for certain builds/playstyles too (like Samson actually being a reliable tank build character now). I think it's better that items are actually something you usually want now instead of nitpicking and resetting 10 times in vanilla Isaac.
Yeah, in the first game, I would usually get total shit all the time and would only get good items like 1 run out of 20.
Just had a crazy Azazel run. I managed to unlock Maggy by getting PHD and spamming the shit out of the bottle of pills. In the end I had 10 heart containers.

Oh good, just what I needed for my Suicide King run, more shit that blows up.
In my last run I think I got one of the worst item combos: my reflection + strange attractor = tears return to you and the bring all the enemies with them! Then I got mom's eye and shot speed up: enemies are pulled towards you from two directions really fast! Fuck.
The run before that I got one of the best combos: unicorn stump + cubes of meat = invincibility in every room while your floating meat kills everything.
Well, I had 4 DMG+ items and Polyphemus, then I had infested baby, spider friend, the ghost that puts fear on them, and dead bird, then get the bigger companions and bigger spider and fly upgrades. Yet, for some reason, the game decided Mom's Heart was far enough. I was really looking forward to storming through Sheol :(
The Lost has been discovered. In order to unlock him you have to do the stupidest shit ever. You have to [sp]Die in four specific ways with four specific characters. Azazel must die to the first form of satan (After the Fallen, before the foot stomp.) Isaac must die to Mullibooms in the basement, Maggy must die by bombing herself to death in the caves, and Judas must die to Mom in the depths 2.[/sp]

Holy shit. There are the ways to unlock characters, and then there's doing crazy shit like that. Thing is, if you were able to learn what the objectives were without blind trial-and-error, perhaps through interpreting item descriptions a'la Dark Souls, and perform the required deeds through skill, it wouldn't even be all that terrible since you'd likely be able to figure things out.
But of course it had to be something so obscure that only the ridiculously lucky would have it pop up for them. Game is still good, but this is a bit too obtuse.
Also, what does The Lost do, anyways?
That sounds waaaay too random. Are you sure that's actually in the code and not some stupid shit they did that happened to unlock The Lost?

Explosive projectile upgrades shouldn't even be able to hurt you at all IMO
So many runs have been ruined (mostly in original) because of Dr. Fetus bombs coming back at you, Ipecacs near walls and other nonsense. I fucking hate it, and I thought Ed would've changed it for Rebirth

Yay, I keep chugging along. Tonight I unlocked Azazel and Eve (I think? Dead Bird girl) and on my first Azazel run I just kind of downhill rolled into the mom fight though I died because I only had one heart and have only done the fight once before and used the Bible.
Definitely like Azazel and Lazarus as my favorites so far. I've been so close to Samson twice in a row now, I'm thinking I'll get him tomorrow.
