Almost kicked [sp]Mega Satan[/sp]'s ass... I had 5 hp when I entered, managed to save all of them until he spawned four mega sins with oh god... mega greed. I shall try again, it's pretty easy with Azazel

Rage building and magic unicorn + multiple enemy gets rekt when they touch you pickups is so glorious
They freeze from midas touch, get poisoned and then I run into them as unicorn and destroy all their health
Gnawed Leaf + Moms Knife + Strange Attractor.
The leaf turns you to stone (invincible) as long as you stand still. Moms Knife is always held up in front of you, and will kill anything touching it. The Strange Attractor will cause anything to be attracted to the knife.
You're basically an indestructible magnetic blender :v:

Then I picked up brimstone and one shot everything, the best time to play this game for max luck is 4 in the morning.

my big ludovico tear only did significant damage if it was basically offscreen due to the bonus from the piece of coal, only I had flaming tears too so it would constantly explode and reset it's position back over to me while I was flying around dodging shit, so I kept losing where it was

Nah.
You need to beat dark room or chest boss first, then you get a secret with "the angels await"
I'm not sure about the chest though. It happened for me after I beat Dark Room, but I guess it's the same for the chest, it would make sense

Are there item unlocks tied to beating hard mode bosses as different characters?
Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but what is new about Rebirth? I love the original game, I've played it a ton, but what makes Rebirth worth paying more money?

Azazel is totally fuckin op. The rebirth is a LOT easier than the classic.
Man having lots of bombs and blast damage makes satan stage 3 e-z
Just run around full bomberman mode
The curse of darkness floors are annoying, but so pretty at the same time

Once I unlocked "everything is terrible" the difficulty most certainly ramped up. I wouldn't call the first easier. There's just a lot more items, and a lot more good items. It's just as easy to get fucked if you're not careful (or lucky).
I really hope this isn't late but a friend just told me about an interesting thing with [sp]The Lost[/sp], and how to get around him having basically no life at all [sp]Apparently if you get 9 lives with him, die once, and get revived he's invincible that next life. Can take 500 hits(?) without dying. Very interesting for anyone who wants to go after his unlocks for some masochistic reason.[/sp]

[sp]When I said "Satan's Second Form" I meant the second form of the fight, aka right after the Fallen.[/sp]
If I'm playing a Seed game I can't unlock anything even if I beat the end bosses right?
