I'm getting some pretty annoying stuttering that didn't seem to change even when i lowered the graphics, gonna try the AMD beta drivers i guess.
Not on the highest settings possible but:

Drivers didnt help, yet another shoddy ubisoft release, atleast i didnt pay for it. (free with card)
Same problems as 3 amplified, stutters randomly when driving / loading in environment and this time it just stuters everywhere, cant lock my fps w/o using vsync and vsync just amplifies the random stutters.

I don't want to be "that guy" but it runs amazing on my end, must be something pretty specific.
The drivers had a fairly noticeable impact on performance but didn't fix the stuttering for me either.

yeah, the game stutters at parts for me too, although its not bad enough to make it unplayable.
Also holy shit are rhinos tough. I found a little squad of 4 golden path soldiers, and one of them wandered into a forest, and then he never came out. 2 people from the squad went to look, and i just saw 2 bodies fly out of the jungle at mach speed and slam against a tree. took around 6 mags from a ak to down one, and 6 elephant gun shots to down the other.
Please tell me the elephants aren't harder.

If you're nvidia try turning off V-sync, AA, and HBAO and see what happens. Patch should have fixed that but that was the fix pre-patch.
playing it atm, its playable, probably just a bit over 30fps on mainly medium which is weird, I have a decent rig and I don't feel like it should be running like that on medium. It's playable but something feels really off about it, idk what. not that impressed.
Okay so every time I pause the game it gets darker and darker until I can't see anymore???
The UI is amazingly usable with mouse controls, plus it looks sexy as fuck. I'm so glad it didn't become another Watch Dogs in terms of UI controls.

I really dislike archers. Mother fuckers don't even aim, while they're running and everything and they still hit you.
Like god damn.
Also, it's really shit that they don't have more default animations. It always goes to the one where he bandages his arm, that's it. I think they could have added more...

I've tried. I think I may be getting a stutter even though I'm running a 970 since it's been mentioned in the thread. I've been sitting back with a 360 pad and it's a lot easier on my brain.

Oh really? Because you need atleast an i7-2600K/AMD FX-4150 or better, 8 GB ram, and a 2GB DX11 card to completely max out FC3. Which means your computer would be able to launch Far Cry 4.

Idk about that. Maybe im not turning everything on max, but I am pushing the ingame option sliders to max, and my computer is holding it's weight. Either way my point stands because I CAN run FC3, but I CANT run FC4. simple as that.
