They had me send in a review copy request form to the pr address at Ubisoft when I requested a FC4 copy for my channel, but I know I'm a really small channel right now (400 subs, 125,000 views etc.) so I kinda doubt I will get one. I'm not complaining, it's totally fair because keys of big titles are generally given to the big guys and I tend to get smaller titles only for now (with the slight exception of things like Wasteland 2 and Legend of Grimrock 2), but since they did actually reply to me and have me send in that form I got a little hope. Since some of the people in this thread are bigger than I and have more inside access (looking at you Delta) do you think I should wait for a bit and hope that they send me a key or should I just expect that they won't actually be sending me one and just buy it?
So this game has negative mouse acceleration and runs horribly on AMD apparently. I guess I'll be holding off on my purchase for a few weeks.
had to redeem the code. Anyway, I can move no problem with my xbox controller, but with the WASD keys, not so much. I have to tap the WASD keys to even move, and it's not even that much distance.
idk whats up with this, I could max far cry 3 and get 60fps but this is just stuttering like fuck on medium, this is pretty awful.
For me, the stutter was resolved after I moved the game to my SSD from HDD [editline]18th November 2014[/editline]
So this game has negative mouse acceleration and runs horribly on AMD apparently. You never know though.

Can disable the negative mouse accel with a cfg change soo

Maybe I'll just ramp up the sensitivity. Edit: Well people are saying the cfg change doesn't work.
Thats not an AMD processor.
Ah right sorry, was thinking graphics card.
Edit: Well people are saying the cfg change doesn't work.
New cfg options were discovered that do disable it recently.
How do I craft a medical syringe?
How do I craft a medical syringe?
Pick up two green leaves, it does it automatically. With the perk that gives you two leaves per plant, you never run out, ever.
New cfg options were discovered that do disable it recently.
You mean this?
<LookSensitivity min="0.2" max="4.0"/> <MouseLookSensitivity min="0.2" max="5.0"/> <MouseAcceleration min="0.0" max="0.0"/> <MouseCurveMultiplayer val="40.0"/>

You mean this?
There was other options like "Smoothness" and "IronsightSmoothness" in it.
Is stealth still crap like in FC3 where if you use a silenced sniper rifle, enemies would not detect you but still run to your precise location?
Is stealth still crap like in FC3 where if you use a silenced sniper rifle, enemies would not detect you but still run to your precise location?
It's much better. Hiding among foliage and stuff works a lot better. Sniper issue might still there but i'm not sure what you mean. If you shoot someone and someone else sees it they'll run to where they thought the shot came from, but you can relocate without issue assuming you're at a distance the sniper should be used at.
For some reason my copy of FC4 is just infinitely "pre-ordered" on Uplay. I can't get it to unlock damnit.
come home from work excited to play farcry 4 game crashes after intro dinner table scene verify files and download 300mb of 'corrupted' files game crashes after initial loading screen verify files and now downloading 9GB of 'corrupted' files fuck this game
If you shoot someone and someone else sees it they'll run to where they thought the shot came from
meh, that's exactly what I was talking about no way they can acknowledge where I shot from, at the very most everyone should be alerted and check random locations or something, but not this. guess I'll have to not miss :v:
I ordered the game erlier today. Can I run it on at least high settings and with AA? i7 930 @stock clocks 12GB RAM GTX 780 Ti Windforce 3X OC.
Wouldn't be hard to tell if you took someone out with a sniper purely from the direction they fell I'd imagine.
people drop dead if shot with a sniper rifle, bullet doesn't have any kick to it, it just exits from the other side of the body
damn, it's time i upgrade from this laptop to a newer one so i can play this and unity on at least medium settings.
So judging by the last ~100 posts, everyone else is stuttering when you move your crosshair about.

Game runs smooth as butter with some settings turned down.
So judging by the last ~100 posts, everyone else is stuttering when you move your crosshair about.
I get loading stutter after starting the game but it goes away within 30 seconds, smooth after that. Running it off a mechanical drive.
Is it a new thing with Ubisoft games that you can't buy cheap Steam keys now? I can only find uPlay keys
Jesus fucking christ I hate unskippable splash screens. What do I need to delete to make those bastards never appear again? [editline]18th November 2014[/editline] Also, I feel like I might be cheating by using a buzzer to reach the tops of bell towers.
Ugh, If I want to have a constant 60 FPS on a GTX 660 OC, I need to play on low. Medium settings makes the game stutter. High is 30FPS at best and Ultra is a wooping 5 FPS, causes driver crashes, cooks my GPU, and while it's not all that, it literally has buffering problems, I saw like randomly colored squares popping at my screen I was afraid my GPU was going to die. It's still surprising that if you activate godrays & fur with low settings (with ultra textures) it looks the same as ultra, without the cooking part of course.
i swear they only recorded like 10 minutes worth of radio to put on a constant loop, im so sick of hearing the same shit over and over i really hope someone figures out how to disable the radio soon
Is the ability to play co-op not working right now, or?
