Game runs ok on my HD7950 but I can't turn on god rays or tree tessellation, had to slam some things down to medium as well.
has anyone found a fix for the mouse acceleration? Its off in settings and I've editied the 2 mouse accel/2 smoothness settings in gamerprofile.

I turned on regular acceleration and managed to get it to cancel out the negative acceleration and be pretty playable.
I can play at full ultra but at like 10-20 frames a second. For some reason its the same with very high, but if its just high i get perfect 60fps no prob.

Try changing GPUMaxBufferedFrames="0" to "1"..
Thinking about buying the game. I had much fun with FC3. How is it compared to the third one?
Or shall I wait?

It's basically the same game, but better.
There's a lot of hardware issues at the moment though, so it might be best to wait until they patch things up.

Sat and played this all day yesterday. Really enjoying it. It seems more punishing than FC3, I seem to get spotted much quicker and take far less bullets.

I think I'm getting just normal mouse accel. When going really slow the mouse feels "sticky" and then speeds up when going faster. That's not negative accel, right?
I've done the .xml fix and disabled it ingame which doesn't work though. has there been any new fixes?

Its an option he's likely not turned off.
I don't know why, but Ajay Ghale sounds excactly like like Jason Brody to me. At least in the beginning of the game, i admitedly didn't play longer than the tutorial because the controll problems make the game unplayable for me. But the way he talks, the tone of his voice and even what he says just sounds so...Jason Brody

Looking through the comments and stuff on the files it unpacks. Jesus christ ubisoft has some [B]sloppy[/B] programmers and someone who has a really bad understanding of english, typos fucking everywhere.

Try setting the program to run as administrator in the properties.

Can confirm, worked for me
I still can't figure out how to unlock the vehicle takedown. I've completed numerous of the kyrat films racing things, but the thing just doesn't stay unlocked. When I restart a race at the end, I can then go in and buy the vehicle takedown and then the chain takedown, but when I exit the mission again, it just gets locked again.
Which video settings can I change to achieve stable 60 fps on a GTX760? I'm having 45-50 on High and it's not quite enough
i just turned post processing down to medium, lighting, shadows and water down to high, Ambient Occlusion down to SSAO and AA on SSAA to get the game to run smoothly on my R9 290 @ 1440p

In the profile settings(the same file with the mouse setting I think) turn off AlphaToCoverage. Even Nvidia suggested turning it off in there rundown thing they do.
Does the game has no hit markers?
