Explosives are not very sneaky though
you're just not well versed in the ancient arts of blowing things up
What's the best way to kill Devil Fish? Explosives fucks up their drops and I need their skin.
Equip camera and look around in water, you're bound to tag at least one fish every time you do it.
What's the best way to kill Devil Fish? Explosives fucks up their drops and I need their skin.
Abuse hunting syringes.
Just saw one of those birds that attack you every now and then pick up a goat and fly away with it.
Just saw one of those birds that attack you every now and then pick up a goat and fly away it.
I try to save the animals, sometimes they fly to far up and i watch a dead eagle and a little pig fall 300 meters to the ground
I try to save the animals, sometimes they fly to far up and i watch a dead eagle and a little pig fall 300 meters to the ground
I run dholes and wolves over on sight. Fuck them.
Finally got the game. From my first impressions, the game is really good looking, the characters are sort of likable so far, and the hostage missions are the worst fucking addition to the entire game. Fuck whoever thought it'd be a good idea to throw in forced stealth missions with a virtually instant fail state that triggers when any enemy does as little as shout with a constant annoying as fuck background of women crying and people laughing.

Hostage rescue isn't instant fail either, you have until they execute the hostages. As long as you haven't got yourself caught straight away you're usually fine.

Hostage missions aren't bad. Kind of fun to sneak around the area with the recurve bow and drop them. Also keep in mind that if you're in the bushes and kill someone with an arrow without being seen, the other guards don't start executing hostages.
... Well. Is Ubisoft just the king of lame 'life lesson' endings or what? [editline]29th November 2014[/editline] muh merge
... Well. Is Ubisoft just the king of lame 'life lesson' endings or what? [editline]29th November 2014[/editline] muh merge
You mean... [sp]trusting the morally fucking bonkers guy to get the best ending is a lame life lesson?[/sp]
You mean... [sp]trusting the morally fucking bonkers guy to get the best ending is a lame life lesson?[/sp]
Fair point; I think what I meant (it was like five in the AM sue me) is that Ubisoft (I may be mixing up developers, but a lot of games I've played as of late do this) kind of has a history of pretty lame duck 'lesser of two evils' endings. From the start, it was clear that you were going to have to take a side between them, but I didn't think they would become so crazy. I found myself agreeing with Sabal a lot in the beginning, and at first I thought Amita [sp]would be the type of character that had Bhadra's best interests at heart and foremost before the 'cause' (teaching the girl how to use a bow at least lent to that), but then they both just went absolutely nutty.[/sp]
Does anyone know how to cheat the arena? The grind is so tedious I want to kill myself (15 rounds in endless equals to a fifth of one level? Go to hell)
Does anyone know how to cheat the arena? The grind is so tedious I want to kill myself (15 rounds in endless equals to a fifth of one level? Go to hell)
Just do the player-made ones that don't include honey badgers.
I decided today to do all the fixes i could to get Far Cry 4 running respectively. I managed to disable the mouse smoothing using the Dunia unpacker and i read about reducing/removing stutter cause by textures higher than medium by disabling mipmap0, but from what i understand that essentially decreases texture quality aswell in ways so it'd be a bit pointless. I had the stuttering problem in Far Cry 3 too, not as previlent, but running around / driving around once in a blue moon id get a small micro freeze, esp driving but in this game it's almost constantly driving, reminds me of Watch Dogs release day.

Like, as straight as they possibly could. Amita is the Red in both design and characterization, she's the passionate, fiery one, the one pushing for things to change and the rules broken. Sabal is the Blue, he's more stoic and dedicated to tradition and ostensibly goodness. They balance each other out and temper each other. [sp]And when you remove one of them, that balance and tempering is lost, causing the traits of the survivor to go wild.[/sp]
Has anyone got a solution for the mouse acceleration issue ? It's driving me insane. Turning it off in the options menu doesn't seem to actually do anything and turning it off via file editor doesn't cut it either. It's killed me four times already because it makes it impossible to aim at anything without the mouse slowing down to impossible levels. Doesn't help that the game has massive stuttering issues at any graphical level, and I'm willing to bet it's caused by the online interactions.
file editor and .xml editing fixed for me, but you're going to have to redo it after every patch
Is it just me, or is this game awfully blurry. Like, i'm not talking in a sense of Motion Blur, or FXAA blurry, the game just straight up looks blurry when moving your mouse around? I have a 120hz monitor, but i cap this game to 60fps and the game has this very blurry feel to it, when i use a controller its a bit easier on me as it doesnt feel so jarring, but it seems like the game has this really odd blur effect. I thought maybe it was related to specific things such as the HBAO but even then turning that off makes no difference. I just wanted to say that Far Cry 3 and 4 respectively are the only games that visually feel like that for me? i find it bizarre, infact turning the actual ingame motion blur on helps hide this effect at the cost of actual nicer looking motion blur. The game looks fantastic, and i've taken to using a controller for it like i did with FC3 but yea, maybe my eyes have gone mad, but its the only game i've ever played that has felt this blurry looking?

I think grid upscales from like 480p or something and it baffles me that people pretend like there's nothing wrong with it BUT IT'S THERE
The game's nice and all but I wish they had fixed the issues of Far Cry 3 instead of accentuating them even more. The bow is still absolutely overpowered, animals still take absurd amount of damage (and also deal absurd amounts), the crafting system is still a cluttered mess, and moving around in the worldmap can be a fucking chore because it's even easier to fall to your death than in FC3, especially now that the wingsuit can collide with any trees, not to mention that it's easier to activate it on accident since holding sprint will immediately deploy it even if you're facing a wall. It's absolutely ridiculous how it takes twenty arrows to take down a rhino while the animal can auto-track charge you and put you down in two hits while constantly bashing the shit out of you because the devs thought it'd be a good idea to keep the annoying as fuck animal attacks without adding in any sort of dodge mechanic so you can actually avoid the shitters charging at you full speed.

I actually had a hard time with money. There aren't enough things in the game to throw it at so I wound up buying every weapon and every mod.
Does anyone have the music that plays when you're [sp]putting your mother's urn in her final resting place?[/sp]

Could be a placebo effect though. Then I cranked up the mouse sensitivity.
