I don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but can you really not customize signature weapons?
Just got the stormer hoping i could give it a new paintjob because the MP34's basic colors are hideous, but it seems like paint can't be applied to it
Nope, what you see is what you get. That's what I don't like the low amount of customization on the regular guns. Getting stuck with a signature gun sucks.

[sp]I was bored, so I killed both her guards first, made sure she turned around to see me, and then I shot her.[/sp]

Well shit.
I'm also pressuming that no guns can have more than 2 attachments in later game?
Didn't play very far yet, though that's how FC3 did it
Does anyone know if there's a Ziggy's Mod in the works for this game?
Late game guns can have 3 attachments.
Although I don't care for most late game guns once I've got the Auto-Cross and MG42
For the last mission I purchased body armor, the Buzzsaw, the auto grenade launcher, Longinus' rocket launcher and a lot of healing syringes. Purposefully never sprinted and felt like a goddamn exosuit :v:
Could anyone tell me where Far Cry 4 installs on their PC? I installed it through UPlay but can't find it anywhere, I'm trying to install the Enhanced Mod above but I can't find the data_win32 folder to extract the files to.
I've found where my savegames are but not where the game is actually installed. Does anyone have any ideas?
Edit:
Nvm, just did a windows search and found it. For some reason I couldn't access the folder before but I have it now. Thanks to anyone who was looking.
I'm just having fun hunting and stuff. Not really had time after working 60 hours a week setting up a store, but I'm off for three days so I can give this some good time to do campaign and side content.
If anyone has this on the PS4, feel free to add me on felton_92
I'm having some issues with the attachments mods. Like randomly all my shadows disappear, anyone got a fix?
Still some pretty cheesy bugs, though I appreciate that 1.5 automatically "re-unlocks" any weapons that are bugged on the progress screen. The locations that are impossible to discover or have their trigger spots in a weird position aren't fixed.
The stealth system is decent sometimes but still has some odd choices. Just like in 3, sometimes the takedown prompt vanishes right as you approach someone if your footing is a little weird, causing you to slash at the air with your knife behind them. And I can maybe understand them hearing that, but the fact that it alerts the entire area as if they're all mentally linked is unfair. Same goes with whiffing a headshot or anything where they clearly don't have enough time to call for help.
Also the auto-drag upon takedown is still way slower than picking someone up and carrying them, don't know what the point of that is.

You can still use it to drag the guy where you can see another therefore allowing you to do a takedown chain. (Knife throw for example.)
Wow, this thread is dead.
Anyone else sometimes get a weird pistol that kinda locks on to enemies, deals huge amounts of damage and gives the 50XP handgun takedown award, outside of the actual takedown?

So uh 3 wolves just helped me clear an outpost. I had my undetected raid fail twice before because the wolves were attacking me first. So the third time I said "fuck it I'll just wait it out". 90% of the camp died because of wolves :v:
Had to finish a single guy and that was all. Maybe they see me as a cub who still has to learn?

I had an Elephant who was nice enough to charge the outpost I was trying to take which made all the guards group up to try and kill the Elephant. A single M-79 finished them all off which got me the undetected bonus as well.
Also, I love the fact that you can 'stealth' outposts with explosives if you bomb the outpost from range. There are explosions going off everywhere and the guards are like 'where the fuck are you?!?!' but won't trip the alarms until they actually see you. You would think that if your outpost was being bombed to pieces that you would trigger the alarm but no, need visual contact that there is someone attacking you first before calling for help.
Actually the yellow boxes are just in case Ajay attacks.
Ajay Alarms.

I failed a outpost 4 times in a row because a tiger decided to stir up some shit and cause an alarm
[editline]19th December 2014[/editline]
actually once I fucked up killing the last guy in a outpost, which caused him to call reinforcements. I killed everyone and still got "undetected" I was like WHAT THE FUCK. my roommate was watching too, and he also was like "how?"

The enemies in the outposts have peculiar priorities in this, throw a few too many rocks while trying to lure a guard away from the others? Alarm sounded. Snipe someone and they find the body? A quick search and if your not caught they just go back on about they're business. Oh and that can be done many times with the sniper, just keep picking them off and hiding, they'll just keep doing a search, then calling it off again.

Okay, I think I found a way to reproduce this:
1. Perform a handgun takedown on anyone and, without switching weapons, get in a car.
2. left click in the car. If you suddenly have a vanilla M1911 in your hands, good, If not, repeat step 1 until you do.
3. while in the car, fast travel to any outpost that has a race challenge.
4. exit the safehouse, you might already have an M1911 now, but if not, start a racing challenge, get in the provided vehicle and then abandon the mission.
5. you should now have a lock-on vanilla M1911, if not repeat process until you do :v:
Remember to not touch your weapon-wheel or switch weapons while, or after, the process for best results.
This works every time for me. If it doesn't work for you guys, I might make a video demonstrating it.
I was doing an assassination mission and through some bait in the base, after they killed the tiger they all ran to the spot where the meat landed and I killed them all with single explosive.
Is the area of the opening level anywhere in the actual open world?
Oh god it's a 31 gig download, dear lord help me. That's a 31 hour download for me, and I can't even do that consecutively. It's going to be a few days...

It'll end up being that way for me, since I have a mifi2200 card I have to share with my brothers, and it is not in my desktop 24/7, plus the stuff I do in MP for Mount and Blade.
Still, i guess the agony will be worth it.
Holy fuck, Rhinos are great.
There was a Royal Supply truck and it happened to pass two rhinos. They proceeded to completely wreck the truck, flinging it around as if it was made out of styrofoam :v:
Man, the animals in this game can either be complete cunts or huge bros.
I just captured an easy outpost after a few tries, first time i got absolutely gangraped by dholes and the second time i faceplanted into a cliff and died. Don't ask how.
Third try, i'm sneaking around the camp tagging enemies when i hear that goddamn howl again and turn around to see a fucking d-hole staring me in the face with the rest of the pack closing in fast.
I nope the fuck out of there and look back only to see tagged enemies falling one by one. Sneaking back to the camp, i see dhole and guard corpses everywhere and spot the lone guard that survived.
I creep him out for a few minutes and shank his ass.
'OUTPOST LIBERATED'
rip dhole-bros, heroes of kyrat

A warning to everyone on PC, patch 1.6.0 can break your savegame if you're over Karma Level 8, disabling autosave and freezing your game if you try to manually save. gg ubisoft

oh yeah, they're making a patch that'll be out soon.

Okay I'm going to ask here because apparently the Steam forums are so eager to start a fight they'll make up an excuse just to do it.
How can I tell what the FOV slider's number is? Like generally for my monitor I play around 90 but I can't tell just by looking at it. Is there like a guess at what the lowest is compared to the highest? Like is it 60/70/80-120 or something?

My game is still 1.5.0, did they roll it back or just halt it on anyone who didn't have 1.6.0 yet?
