FoV is locked.
You can always edit the FOVScaleFactor in the config.
Even GTA has FoV settings now :v:
Actually, one of the day one patch notes mentions adding "FoV scaling". Not sure if that means a slider in the options or what.

i dunno about you guys i really liked the far cry 3 story ( up to the middle) where it turned into WE WARRIOR NOW AAAAARGH
seeing the slight translation of jason from white rich kid to holy molly slaugther machine with random crazy blackouts was nice

well it really does feel like Far Cry 3 again and that game was amazing so it's not really a surprise
also, FC4 on the PC looks really pretty, but runs slightly worse than the last one, I could max the last one pretty easily but I have to turn quite a few of the settings down a couple notches from Ultra to keep the stuttering at bay

yeah, you can actually create your own outposts and stuff with customizable reinforcements and stuff
you get to choose between four different gamemodes: Hunt, Assault, Outpost, and Extraction
Hunt is basically kill all animals
Assault is kill all enemies
Outpost is an outpost
Extraction is kill everyone to get to the extraction point
I'm hoping this one is a bit more optimized, had stuttering issues with Far Cry 3, also really bad popin and enemies bugging out a lot.

That's a bug with AA, Basic MSAA is the only thing that works properly right now for me, might be fixed in the day1 patch or nvidias new driver that's probably coming soon.
I'm surprised I can even run this on high settings with some of them on Very High.
It looks pretty damn nice, and runs 40-50 fps fairly alright.
I imagine once nvidia releases some newer drivers for further optimization, plus maybe a patch, it'll run like a charm.

I watched the Giant Bomb Quick Look and the helicopter they got only lasted like 10 seconds before it just fell out of the sky. Were they doing something wrong?

If you fly too high the engine will eventually shut off and turn on again. (I think v:v:v)
