There is but I don't know the particular code for them. Try the rift forums, unless someone else here knows how.
Never mind. Made a macro on my mouse since all I have to do is hit the keys as I want them :v:
Finally someone makes a thread on this. you need to improve the OP though. But the Auction house will be open to everyone once they finish it. They said it ont heir livestream.
Oh yeah, is there another way to make money besides the Auction House? I don't think I'd be able to gather up some loyalty. I'm about to turn 25 and hopefully buy a new mount but I only have 6 plat.
Running IA's and selling the rare deeps lockboxes and deeps lockbox keys have netted me a decent amount.
How many soul points do you get at max level?
For anyone that's interested in playing, here's a link to my ascend a friend if you subscribe and become a patron. You and your friends will be able to summon one another once every 30 minutes. Your Ascended friends’ characters will be automatically added to your Friends List, and your characters will be added to theirs. Your Ascended friends will earn the in-game title, “The Chosen.”
Helps me get a cool mount. Mutually beneficial.
How much do deeps lock boxes go for? Managed to get one from a PvP match. [editline]10th July 2013[/editline] Actually I should just check the auction house.
If I buy the $10 Collector Edition upgrade on a F2P account, do I get the extra bag and character slots? I tried asking in game and they said "u have 2 pay over 9000$" and I'm somewhat considering just stopping right here :suicide:
Don't ask the game chat anything if you want a serious answer
Im about to start a warrior with a buddy of mine, any general/warrior specific tips?
Just hit 27 today after another 10+ hour playthrough. This game just gets better and better. Tried some PVP, awesome.
Not played this game since launch, and I was at uni high most of the time but from what I recall I had great fun on it. 30 minutes later chatting to support, my password is reset and it's updating :3 Looking forward to trying it out again. Edit: Just logged in, level 8. Looks like I played this a lot...
So uh...what separates this from WoW or any other MMO? Why does it stand out? (Other than being f2p, of course)
I am currently #1 on the leaderboards, Diamond Autoch Division.
So I got banned from RIFT for a day for using "3rd party programs" The only programs I run while playing are Steam, Raptr, and Spotify. Steam and Raptr are both used by RIFT (some people bought RIFT on steam when it was still P2P) and Spotify is just...music. The only other things I can think of are MSE and my keyboard and mouse software. If they seriously banned me for using the required software to run my keyboard and mouse then Trion is a bunch of fucktarded idiots and when I'm unbanned, I'm demanding my money back and never playing this shit again.
So uh...what separates this from WoW or any other MMO? Why does it stand out? (Other than being f2p, of course)
Better graphics Better combat animations More diversity in classes (4 classes with 9 different classes within them and you can choose three so you can mix and match the type of gameplay you want. For example, I'm a DPS Tank that uses elemental skills and some magic to improve survivability. Tons of content Feels like Vanilla World of Warcraft plus tons of content Leveling doesn't feel grindy Open World PVP is really really fun PVE content is great PVP Warzones are amazing Truly Free 2 Play, no bullshit other than having to purchase the additional 2 bag slots (completely not necessary).

[editline]17th July 2013[/editline]
So uh...what separates this from WoW or any other MMO? Why does it stand out? (Other than being f2p, of course)
It's WoW with a neat class system and a new coat of paint.
These are a stretch. [editline]17th July 2013[/editline] It's WoW with a neat class system and a new coat of paint.
Trion has released entire areas as patches. They've also pretty much doubled the size of the world with the expansion. The art style is completely different but I prefer it to World of Warcraft's cartoonish aesthetics. The design is completely different too. Combat animations are important because if the only difference between attacks are "this one glows green" and "this one glows blue", it's extremely boring to play. Lord of the Rings Online is a perfect example of this. The game is more difficult, it feels like World of Warcraft 1.12 right before TBC came in. Leveling feels pretty fluid rather than "gather 10 bear assholes and give them back to me", there's actually a decent storyline behind each area and overall it just seems a lot more fun. If you don't like questing, there are alternative leveling methods such as crafting/open world PVP/PVP warzones/dungeons and eventually raids. Overall, yeah it is World of Warcraft with a new coat of paint and a few good ideas but that's really all you can expect out of a themepark MMO. If you're looking for a great themepark MMO with a competent development team that is always pushing out content updates, RIFT is going to be the absolute best Everquest/World of Warcraft-styled MMO out there currently, the fact that it's free to play is just an additional bonus. A lot of people are looking at Wildstar but that probably isn't coming out until winter of this year at the earliest, and that's being published by NCSoft so I'm keeping my expectations at a reasonable level. Go check out ArcheAge if you want something different (coincidentally being published by Trion in US/EU markets).
So what the hell is currently up with this game? Is it still going strong?
So what the hell is currently up with this game? Is it still going strong?
Died two weeks after release.
Died two weeks after release.
ehh just tried it out. Ran like a wet turd
Died two weeks after release.
Really? Last time I was on Rift, my server was a high pop.
Really? Last time I was on Rift, my server was a high pop.
It suppose to be fairly populated.
It was reasonably populated last time i played it a few months ago. Populated enough for about 25 of us to show up for a Regional Rift event and take out the boss that spawned in the middle of the map. I dunno, it was a great game but it just couldn't hold my attention, maybe if i try it again soon it'll be different.
Wow, didnt know there ever was an FP thread for this. Still playing on the Faeblight shard.
Serantos is a scary region. The Shade happened 20 years prior to the game, so the effect of death magic on Stillmoor occured in 20 years. Serantos on the other hand has been under the effect of death magic for centuries. And its pretty obvious too. You cant even see the earth anymore, the lands are covered with necrotic flesh and bones of creatures ranging from small to gigantic.
I'm going to give this game a shot. Any tips or things I should keep in mind? Also, is there a referral program? I've not yet made an account so if you hand me a link I'll totally let you get some benefits from recruiting me. [editline]14th August 2014[/editline] I'm registered now, sorry.
I'm going to give this game a try now too, seeing as it's f2p and all. Where is people playing at?
I'm going to give this game a try now too, seeing as it's f2p and all. Where is people playing at?
I'm on EU, shard Gelidria. So far my experience has been great with the community. The game seems pretty complicated but fun nonetheless. Got two 20 space bags and 150 platinum within 2 days of being in a guild.
