Looks like clans are getting tiers, higher tiers have higher population caps but will also probably have higher upkeep friction

I'd like to invite friends and families on fp but as long as there will be the 'he gets banned you get banned too' rule that is not gonna happen.

Because their friends are in the clan. Plenty of reasons for people to want to be in the FP clan without being a part of FP.
But yeah, if people not on FP want to come in, it might be wise to take on a system like facepunch does now. Invites, and keep track of who recommended who. If someone from outside facepunch fucks up the dojo/is an asshole, kick him, and punish whoever recommended him?

While I do support the notion of the "You're punished for inviting someone that fucked something up" idea, I don't think we're [I]that[/I] organized to pull it off.
Right now I'd say it's best to just invite them in moderate amounts, like perhaps 5-10 outsiders per month.
Perhaps also make it so that if a FPer fucks up he's given a second chance whereas if an outsider fucks up he's out?

Well, from what I understand there's only a few people that can invite members. They could keep a central list in a repository.
But eh, doing it in moderation should be fine. Aftermath has a point. There's not a whole lot to mess with, but that might change in the future, so perhaps it's good to take precautions before such changes get through.

I covered pretty much every invite to the fp clan in the past week. I'll start writing up who got in who if you guys feel it's necessary but really I don't see why can't we just tell matie or legolas to kick somebody out if a flaming or some shit happens

If there is going to be some sort of difference between bigger clans and smaller clans when it comes to material farming, having 200 inactive players is really gonna weigh us down.

shame that the clans are <30 | <100 | <500 | <2000
If things get nasty we could ask for a 'last time online' function and downgrade to 'River' <100 clan.
also clear out unanswered invites
This one method is kinds suckish because a lot of clans will be in the 100 - 500 size range, and of course a clan of 499 active peeps is far more proficient than one with 101. This will lead to clans closing borders..
Imo cost should scale like this:
<10 | <30 | <50 | <100 | <150 | <200 | <300 | <500 | <750 | <1000 | <1500 | <2000
Or we kick everyone out of the clan and they will have to send a pm to get re-added
and then i'll spend the rest of my week re-adding people
