Or we kick everyone out of the clan and they will have to send a pm to get re-added and then i'll spend the rest of my week re-adding people (note this is a joke)
If you can wait till June 23rd-ish I can then help with that :v:
BOLTOR. Lex is amazing, but BOLTOR is god-tier, and more versatile.
Is it just me or is platinum way to expensive?
Is it just me or is platinum way to expansive?
It is. I wish there was a way to convert credits into platinum. I feel like my credits are just piling up cause I have nothing to spend it on.
Should I potato my Lex first or my Boltor? I've been leaning more towards the Lex because god that thing is sexy.
Lex is not as good for high-level gameplay as some of the other sidearms (AKBOLTO) Put that catalyst to better use. Boltor.
It is. I wish there was a way to convert credits into platinum. I feel like my credits are just piling up cause I have nothing to spend it on.
I wish they made everything with plat cheaper, prices are full retard hell I bought a 30 dollars pack, used part of it and my free 150 on a colour pack, and I'm saving the rest just for slots and maybe blue potatos, everything else is just not worth it
It is. I wish there was a way to convert credits into platinum. I feel like my credits are just piling up cause I have nothing to spend it on.
Didn't DE say they were looking into some way to buy resources or whatever with credits?
Didn't DE say they were looking into some way to buy resources or whatever with credits?
I have no idea. I play this game when I have nothing to do in Guild Wars 2. They should just add "Weapon Slot" blueprints as a random alert [editline]31st May 2013[/editline] And Warframe slots of course
Should mystery alerts stay a mystery if we have the item it hands out?
I think it's silly keeping alerts as ?'s now at all. With two seconds to check Twitter you can find out what it is.
I think it's silly keeping alerts as ?'s now at all. With two seconds to check Twitter you can find out what it is.
Thats another thing. I mean, I personally don't check the twitter feed because it gives me something to do outside of 'farm more salvage you slave'. Yet why keep the ?'s when the answer is a click away?
Totally Prime I wish there was a secondary prime weapon (besides the lato)
have a dojo planner https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1032313/Dojo%20Builder/index.html
Thanks! ps. Can't turn labs and there's no L connectors. Also being able to zoom out would be great. [editline]31st May 2013[/editline]
I guess id like to join the FP clan, my in game name is Grashnid.
I wish there was a way to convert credits into platinum. I feel like my credits are just piling up cause I have nothing to spend it on.
Why does some people simply not understand how Free-To-Play models work? Making micro-transaction currency available to anyone for free is a horrible idea unless it requires you to move 7mountains with your pinky finger. Even 1000 credits for 1 platinum is ridiculous because there are so many people with millions of credits. Also, I'd recommend you to try out new builds and craft a bunch of stuff, that way your money will drain much faster. Because then nobody will buy them, at least not enough people required to make DE not go bankrupt. [editline]aaa[/editline] On a bit less cynical note, is that frame poll still going on for those design council people? What themes did they present, and who is in the lead?
Why yes, why not also give out boosters and color packs as well? Because then nobody will buy them, at least not enough people required to make DE not go bankrupt.
I think you underestimate the impatience of people. League makes a shitton of money every time they put out a new hero because tons of people buy them immediately despite having the ability to just grind up soft currency and get it for free. I actually think it's a good idea, but I feel like the alert system needs to be retooled to do something like guarantee a Vaubaun piece once a week or make sure a Forma drops within a certain span of time. Something that will still keep the alert system in place but also not drive people fucking insane trying to play totally free.

There is a conspiracy theory based on the LoL business model; it is said that when the developers release a new hero, they intentionally make it OP and "fix" it later when it gets released. I haven't played LoL myself, or taken an in-depth look at their system, but I've heard people who play it usually complain that the newest hero is over-powered. As far as I know, LoL has such a good business model because it takes a lot of grinding to get what you want, whereas in warframe, you can get everything you need for a new frame just by doing the right missions. Warframe also does not have a big enough playerbase in order to support this model. Several million people play LoL and a lot of those on a regular basis, but the few thousands who play warframe may just craft the newest weapons, try them out and quickly get bored again. Because of LoL's increasing casual playerbase, there is a big chance for some of them to be idiots who pull out their credit card if they want something.
which is why you have a scaling economy. just look at guild wars 2 and neverwinter, they allow you to change ingame money into paid currency and paid currency into ingame money.
I've tried Neverwinter and they appear to have a quite grindy system for it. I mean you get 500 "game money" every hour by doing a specific task, but I doubt anyone would like to stay up the entire night for it. I know you can get it by doing missions as well, but those are not like alerts, they are usually time consuming MMO stuff that some people (like me) are not interested in at all! Even if you get a lot of "game money", you can only get 24k a day, which sounds like a lot, but a mount/companion in that game costs almost a million of the sodding things! How would you react if a sentinel took 42 days of pure grinding to get? That's one of the reasons I stopped playing Neverwinter. [editline]31st May 2013[/editline]
A million creds for 12plat would be reasonable, imho.
That's a million credits for two weapon slots, about two million for a warframe slot (with 4 to spare that you can't do anything with), 7 million for one of the starter frames or a color pack with a potato (and 9 plat to spare. Gee, I wonder what you can do with that) and almost 200 million credits for a brand new frame. Does that sound like a good business model to you? Edit: Remind me never to start an Internet discussion again using an iPhone.
I always come back farming against infested wondering why i stopped then i get hit by an ancient and lose all my energy and shields and die [editline]31st May 2013[/editline]
That's a million credits for two weapon slots, about two million for a warframe slot (with 4 to spare that you can't do anything with), 7 million for one of the starter frames or a color pack with a potato (and 9 plat to spare. If you're not grinding for something, there's nothing for you to actually do.
And cosmetics in f2p is supposed to be expensive
I may get crucified for this, but whatever: farming rubedo is fun as fuck now. Ember + Flow + Rank 3 Fireblast on Pacific = Easy Mode. Plus I like watching the Infested scurry around on fire.
Man, I was farming against Grineer one time for at least two days and I was fucking sick of it. Eventually I want to a system with Corpus and Infested and my first Infested mission in days was so awesome. Then a door opened with a Disruptor halfway into his swing.
Speaking of platinum prices this is fucking ridiculous
Then a door opened with a Disruptor halfway into his swing.
that feeling when you run round a corner and into a Grineer Heavy doing the ground-pound thing
