It increases range, duration and/or damage.

Leveling a mod increases the bonus you get, if it's a non-skill mod. Skills will tell you what you get from leveling them if you hover over the card for a few seconds.

Lato alone is never good enough. Replace that shit asap, as well as Mk1-Braton and Skana if you still have them.
(If you want to keep Lato you can get Aklato, and Braton is a straight upgrade from Mk1-Braton. Cronus is a straight upgrade of Skana, too, but you can't buy it from the store, so you have to get it from the first boss.)

I've had the stalker attack me literally 3 times on tower raids whenever I'm on my Banshee that I'm trying to level.
It's literally only level 13 and the stalkers level 45 holy fuck

I'm still new at this, but I'm looking at Warframes and I want to be a tank-ish character. I was going for Rhino before, but I've heard he's been nerfed quite a bit. Is he still worth playing?
I enjoy mine. So does a buddy of mine, can tank quite well still. And he has like 750 health/shield
Yeah, I've got the Braton, Lato, and Cronus at the moment. I'll guess I'll get a new pistol soon, I hardly use the damn thing unless I'm carrying a data packet or something like that but I guess I'll need one for this test.
Try to ditch the Mk1 Braton(assuming you haven't already) and grab a Lex/Sicarus. I think you can buy all of that for credits, no need to craft it.

Frost has the exact same stats and acts like a defensive tank; it's a sort of battlemage build, if you know what I mean.

sounds kind of similar to the Arcane Warrior build from the first Dragon Age, and if i recall correctly that build was OP as fuck
I don't think there are many ways to efficiently balance a caster build with the endurance of a tank.

Someone on here was saying rhino is easy mode (as in good) but grinding up rhino bps is the worst imo.
I've heard vauban is the most op but dem alert missions.

They did in a way, his damage attack costs 50 and damages not quite enough, you need to cast a couple to empty a corridor, as opposed to 1 slash dash for 25 energy.
His ultimate has also considerably shorter range than others.
Haven't played since they made Rhino/Nyx super shit.
They still terrible or did they come to their senses yet?

No, the 800 damage cap was not a buff. It's arguably worse than the 80% shit they tried earlier.
Desire sensor is real, I didn't even want all this stalker shit and I have all blueprints with no effort.
Meanwhile I had to grind Kela for 2 days to get a single Saryn systems blueprint.
If I see Kela again I think I'm gonna puke.

It's a bit more viable with the cap instead as you can at least let your shield recharge. And when your shields have more health than the cap on Iron Skin, its pretty important.
