in other words, I currently have all parts of Ash building and one part left for Ember since I decided to be smart and make two of her parts at different times. Any suggestions on which frame I should go with first?

When me and the bros went for Saryn we got all 3 BPs in 4 runs. Meanwhile it takes me 18 runs to get the Trinity set and I'm over 20 now for Jackal with only two pieces.

Mag is an okay frame. Excal outclasses it a tad for starting frames though.
Excalibur is probably the best starter if only because you have to get to Pluto to get it normally.

He just lacks usefulness.
Loki is extremely useful, outside of defense missions.
Inside defense missions he is a pile of poo.
In actual missions his decoy = heal, his radial disarm is good and his invisibility means he can revive anyone.
He's a super medic.
But in defense missions? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH WOOOOOOOOOW
Side bar I'm almost done with the latron forever (until I get the final prime piece) also apparently I have 2/3 of the ash parts. Only need the helmet. If I start it's construction today that'll be 3 days 3 warframes. Tempting...
