even with rhino's best ability nerfed to mag-level, i still like really him as a warframe. see, all the other frames rely on manipulating various forms of energy or gadgets in their suits for their abilities. rhino's powers revolve around hitting enemies or the environment until they do what he wants. that's a good philosophy
I'm currently ranking my Rhino up, hoping it'll improve later on. Either way, Aslong as I still have it.

I equipped my strun again, put armor penetration, dmg and firing speed mods, it's really passable now, but doubt I will spend a potato on it

I've had buddy run around with hek, and compared to my Strun, he had better effects staying somewhat an arm-reach away from enemies, butting focused pain in them one after another.
My Strun worked well in swimminng-pool-of-baddies situations more reliably.

I have no idea how you get that impression because when I had my Hek I was shoving it down Grineer's throats. This isn't an argument: it's better than the Strun and better than most other guns in the game, even after they took away it's hilarious sniping ability (which was totally justified, that shit was stupid).

The hek was pretty lackluster at first until I gave it multishot, armor piercing, and increased damage

I think I may have to polarize my hek. Multishot already fills 1/4 of the slots on a potato'd hek.

It's 10 damage, range doesn't give me much when I'd rather switch over to Lex for that, accuracy follows same path when I use it for bloodbaths, narrower cone = less targets hit and I do appreciate some happy accidents on spread.
I'd have to give to the reload speed, but then again, less bullets per magazine.
